Trustees for the Eketahuna Public Cemeteries appointed.
CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section fifty-five of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke a certain Warrant dated the twenty-eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seven, appointing trustees for the Eketahuna Public Cemeteries, and do hereby appoint
THE EKETAHUNA BOROUGH COUNCIL
to be trustees to have the maintenance and care of the Cemeteries described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
EKETAHUNA CEMETERIES.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Section No. 155, Block X, Mangaone Survey District.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 15 perches, more or less, being Lot No. 2 of Section No. 40, Block VI, Mangaone Survey District.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, containing 10 acres 1 rood 4 perches, more or less, and being Suburban Section 183, Town of Parkville.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 4th day of February, 1926.

The Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the N.Z. Military Forces amended.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto the Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Forces, published in the Gazette dated the sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and I do hereby declare that the amendment hereby made shall take effect as from the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
FINANCIAL INSTRUCTIONS AND ALLOWANCE REGULATIONS FOR NEW ZEALAND MILITARY FORCES.
AFTER paragraph 43 add the following new paragraph :—
“43A. (i.) A warrant officer, Class I, who is promoted to commissioned rank shall, notwithstanding such promotion, continue to qualify for the increments to which he would have been entitled under paragraph 46 as though he had not been appointed to commissioned rank, if the rates for warrant officers are higher than those for the commissioned rank held.
(ii.) A warrant officer, Class II, who is promoted to commissioned rank shall, notwithstanding such promotion, be entitled to receive the rate of pay laid down for warrant officer, Class I, as from the date upon which he would have qualified for promotion to warrant officer, Class I, had he remained a warrant officer, also the increments provided for that rank, if the rates for same are higher than those for the commissioned rank held.
