THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Land taken for Waterworks Purposes in Block IX, Titirangi Survey District, Waitemata County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for waterworks purposes, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 40 acres, being Allotment S.E. portion 11, Parish of Karangahape.

Situated in Block IX, Titirangi Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 23457.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 65059, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of February, 1926.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road in Moeangiangi Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Waipakura Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 5 acres 1 rood 21 perches. Portion of Tunahaere D 3N Block; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 5 acres 0 roods 7 perches. Adjoining or passing through Tunahaere D 3N Block; coloured green.

All situated in Block IX, Waipakura Survey District. (S.O. 1896.)

All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 60054, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of February, 1926.

Withdrawing Land in Canterbury Land District from Leasing or Disposal under Village-settlement Conditions.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the fifth section of the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the fifteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and one, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, and do declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the said land is hereby withdrawn from leasing or disposal under village-settlement conditions.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that land in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 14 perches, more or less, and being Sections 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 of the Stour Village Settlement, situated in Block V of the Alford Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 46743, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of February, 1926.

Proclaiming Road-lines laid out through Utuhina, Te Koutu, Ohinewaiura, and Te Miringa Blocks, Auckland Land District, to be Public Roads.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was by an order of the Native Land Court made on the twenty-fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, duly laid off as road-lines, in pursuance of sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:

And whereas one month's notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-lines as public roads has been given
