nine hundred and twenty-six, a regulation was made under the
authority of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, and its amend-
ments (hereinafter termed "the said Act") for the licensing
of installations and the working of apparatus for radio-tele-
graphy:
And whereas it is expedient to revoke such regulation, and
to make the regulation set forth in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred upon him by the said Act
and of all other powers and authorities in that behalf enabling
him, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke
the regulation made by the aforementioned Order in Council,
and in lieu thereof doth hereby make the regulation set forth
in the Schedule hereto, and doth declare that the regulation
hereby made shall form part of and be read together with the
regulations for radio-receiving, amateur transmitting and
receiving, and experimental stations, dated the second day
of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 16, of the fifth day of
March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and shall
come into force on and after the date of publication of this
Order in Council in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS.
No. 54A (1.) Wireless aerials shall not, without the consent
of the licensee for the supply of electricity concerned, be
erected above or below wires used for the supply of electricity
or sufficiently near to such wires to permit of contact with
them should either class of wire break, become detached from
its support, or the support fail.
(2.) Wireless aerials shall not, without the consent of the
Minister, be erected above or below any electric line erected
and maintained by the Post and Telegraph Department.

Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the N.Z. Military Forces amended.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its
amendments, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby amend in the manner and to the extent set forth in
the Schedule hereto the Financial Instructions and Allowance
Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces; and I do
hereby declare that the amendment hereby made shall take
effect as from the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
FINANCIAL INSTRUCTIONS AND ALLOWANCE REGULATIONS FOR THE NEW ZEALAND MILITARY FORCES.
PARAGRAPH 52, as published in the New Zealand Gazette
dated 10th June, 1926, is hereby revoked, and the following
substituted:—
"52. Free issues of clothing to warrant and non-com-
missioned officers and men of the N.Z. Permanent Forces
will be made in accordance with the following scale:—
"(1.) When first attested for permanent service—

"(a) Officers' pattern in cases where first appointments are made in
a rank above that of Sergeant.
"(b) Not issued to N.Z.A.O.C., N.Z.A.P.C., N.Z.A.M.C., or General
Duty Section, except in the cases of warrant officers and N.C.O.s above
the rank of Sergeant.
"(c) For mechanics of N.Z. Permanent Air Force only.
"(d) Issuable only where the issue of pantaloons is inadmissible, vide
note (b).
"(e) Not issuable to personnel employed solely on clerical duties.
NOTE.—In cases where first appointments are made in a
rank above that of Sergeant, the scale of clothing will be as
in (1) above, except that the articles shown in (2) will be issued
in lieu of corresponding articles in (1)."

Amending a Warrant setting apart Crown Land under Section 161 of the Land Act, 1924.

WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the sixteenth day of
August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
six, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-sixth day of
that month, an area of two acres six perches in Block IV,
Opoe Survey District, in the North Auckland Land District,
was set apart for disposal under section one hundred and
sixty-one of the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas an error was made in the description of the
said area in the Schedule to the said Warrant, inasmuch as
the land was described as being "Section 17, Block IV, Opoe
Survey District" instead of "Section 7, Block IV, Opoe
Survey District"; and whereas it is desirable that the error
of description should be rectified:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by the said Act, and of every other power and
authority enabling me in this behalf, do hereby amend the
Schedule to the said Warrant dated the sixteenth day of
August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, here-
inafter referred to, by substituting the words "Section 7,
Block IV, Opoe Survey District," for the words "Section 17,
Block IV, Opoe Survey District."
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 12th day of October, 1926.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section one hundred and sixty-
one of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson,
Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto
for disposal under the section of the Act mentioned.

SECTION 22, Block V, Opoe Survey District: Area, 13 acres
1 rood 31.5 perches.

General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

hundred and twenty-six, as the time at which the lands
described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public
