Oct. 21.] THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the nineteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of November, then instant, setting apart settlement lands for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the lands in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule here-to to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of stopped Government road declared to be Crown land : 1 acre 2 roods 20 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Section 22, situated in Block IX, Wakamarina Survey District.

In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66567, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Altering the Middle-line of Portions of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Portion of Wairoa Section).

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Schedule to the Proclamation dated the twenty-second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 79, of the twenty-seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, defining the middle-line of a further portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (part Mohaka Section, Waihua Section, and part Wairoa Section) as affects the portion of line between 66 miles 2690·33 links and 68 miles 14 chains, as shown on the plan numbered P.W.D. 61044 referred to in such Proclamation; and do also hereby revoke so much of the Schedule to the Proclamation dated the twenty-third day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 144, of the thirty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, altering the middle-line of a portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway—namely, portion of Wairoa Section (towards Napier)—as affects the portion of line between 2 miles and 0 miles as shown on the plan numbered P.W.D. 44741 referred to in such Proclamation; and in lieu thereof do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the said portions of railway shall be as defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point in Section 15, Turiroa Agricultural Sections, Block V, Waihua Survey District, marked 66 miles 2690·33 links, being coincident with the mileage on the line of railway described in a Proclamation dated the twenty-second day of November, 1924, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 79, of the twenty-seventh day of November, 1924, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly and then southerly direction and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz.: Sections 15, 14, and 13, Turiroa Agricultural Sections, Block V, Waihua Survey District; Lot 1, deposited plan No. 3187, Block I, Clyde Survey District, and Block XXI, Taramarama Survey District; Paeroa Block Nos. 1E, 2, 1E 6, 1E 7A, 1E 7B, 1E 9, 1E 10, 1E 11, 1E 12, 1E 13, 1B 2B, and a private road, Block I, Clyde Survey District; and terminating at a point marked 70 miles 25 chains, situated on the boundary between the aforesaid 1B 2B and railway reserve: including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and water-courses. All in the Hawke’s Bay Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66971, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of October, 1926.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Public School in Block IV, Maketu Survey District, Tauranga County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule here-to is hereby taken for the purposes of a public school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Auckland, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.
