Notice of Intention to take Land in Blocks VI and X, Tokatoka Survey District, for the Purposes of a Road.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Tokatoka, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land required to be taken:—

A. R. P. Being Portion of
0 2 29 Lot 120 (Cemetery Reserve), Town of Tokatoka, Blocks VI and X.
0 0 33 Sections 13, 14, and 15, E.R., Town of Tokatoka, Block X.
0 0 24 Sections 23 and 24 E.R., Town of Tokatoka, Block X.

Situated in Tokatoka Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 23187.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62071, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Notice respecting proposed Alteration of Boundaries, Borough of Te Kuiti.

Wellington, 11th October, 1926.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be excluded from the Borough of Te Kuiti and included in the County of Waitomo. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration of boundaries which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

AREA PROPOSED TO BE EXCLUDED FROM THE BOROUGH OF TE KUITI.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Pukenui part 2r Section 3 Block, as shown on plan 15840 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence south-easterly along the eastern boundary of that land and the land shown on plan 6731 deposited as aforesaid to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence south-westerly along the southern boundary of that lot and of Pukenui part No. 2r Section 3 Block to the boundary of the Borough of Te Kuiti; thence generally northerly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

Prohibition of Issue of Money-order and Transmission of Postal Correspondence in New Zealand for Herr Rassmussen, 45 Ann Street, Brisbane.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, having reasonable ground for supposing that the person whose name and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in advertising in direct or indirect terms the treatment of diseases of the sexual organs, it is hereby ordered under section 28 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, that no money-order in favour of the said person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said person (either by his own or any fictitious or assumed name), or addressed to the address in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.

Inscribed Stock, maturing 15th November, 1927, will be closed from the 1st November to the 15th November, 1926 (inclusive), for the purpose of the issue of half-yearly interest.
