NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the shareholders of the HAMILTON THEATRE ROYAL (LIMITED) in liquidation, will be held at the offices of Tudhope and Adams, Solicitors, 71 Victoria Street, Hamilton, on Friday, the 24th day of September, 1926, at 8 p.m., for the purpose of submitting a statement showing the final winding-up of the company.

IN pursuance of an application to the Supreme Court of New Zealand by the company called “L. ADAMS AND Co. (LIMITED),” for approval of a change of the name of the said company to “REO MOTORS (LIMITED),” notice is hereby given that at a sitting of the said Court held at Auckland on Monday, the 30th day of August, 1926, the said change of name to “REO MOTORS (LIMITED)” was approved.

I, HARWOOD CLIFFORD HEMUS, of Avondale, in the Provincial District of Auckland, in New Zealand, Chemist, for and on behalf of my infant son KENNETH HARWOOD HEMUS, formerly called and known by the name of “Kenneth Douglas Hemus,” hereby give public notice that I have assumed on his behalf and henceforth upon all occasions intend him to be called and known by and to sign and use his name of “Kenneth Harwood Hemus”; and, further, that such intended change of name is evidenced by deed-poll under my hand and seal bearing date the seventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and intended to be forthwith enrolled in the office at Auckland of the Supreme Court of New Zealand.

THE COLOMBO TEA COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the office of the Colombo Tea Company, Number 267 Princes Street South, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 30th day of September, 1926, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidators, and also of determining by resolution entered in the minute-book of the company and signed in pursuance of section 168 (6) of the Companies Act, 1908, the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidators thereof shall be disposed of under section 252 of the said Act.

WHAKATANE COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and of the Public Works Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Whakatane County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work—namely, to create a public stock reserve at Rotoma; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the said Whakatane County Council, situated at Whakatane, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Clerk of the said Council at the said office.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the parcel of land required to be taken: 9 acres 0 roods 4 perches. Being portion of Lot 39A, Parish of Matata (Block XI, Rotoma Survey District): coloured on plan, edged red. Situated in the County of Whakatane.
