concreting Dominion Road carriage-way from the intersection of Boundary Road to Mount Albert Road, and the formation of pathways and all other minor works in connection therewith, the Mount Roskill Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 9/64ths d. (nine sixty-fourths of one penny) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) on all the rateable property in the Mount Roskill Road District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Loan of £5,500.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,500 (five thousand five hundred pounds), authorized to be raised by the Mount Roskill Road Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of the purchase and erection of a stone-crushing plant and equipment, and development of a stone-quarry on the metal reserve, Three Kings, Mount Roskill, the said Mount Roskill Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3/64ths d. (three sixty-fourths of one penny) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) on all the rateable property in the Mount Roskill Road District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920; and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitotara County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the widening of Rapanui Road; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at Ridgway Street, Wanganui, and is open to inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

NOTICE OF REGISTRATION OF ORDER AND MINUTE.

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 27th day of August, 1926, the following certificate was given under the hand and seal of the Assistant Registrar of Companies, Wellington:—

“Certificate under Section 47 of Companies Act, 1908.

“I, WALTER HAROLD FLETCHER, Assistant Registrar of Companies, hereby certify that a copy of an order of the Court dated 26th day of August, 1926, confirming the reduction of capital of the WELLINGTON MEAT EXPORT COMPANY (LIMITED) from £300,000 to £150,000 and a minute showing the amount of the capital of the company as altered by the order, the number of shares into which the capital is divided, and the amount of each share, were registered by me on 27th day of August, 1926.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between ALLAN GEORGE GIRVAN, of Dunedin, Bread-salesman and JOHN HUTCHISON, of Dunedin, Baker, carrying on business as Bakers at Dunedin, under the style of “Girvan and Hutchison,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, on which date the said ALLAN GEORGE GIRVAN retired from the said Partnership; and that on the same date the business of the Partnership was taken over by the said JOHN HUTCHISON and SAMUAL HUTCHINSON, of Dunedin, Baker, who will be responsible for all debts and liabilities of the said Partnership, and to whom all moneys owing by the said Partnership shall in future be payable.
