A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a street at Willis Street, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date herein-after mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1·33 perches. Being portion of Section 199, situated in the City of Wellington (Town of Wellington R.D.). (S.O. 2060.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66670, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the land in the Borough of New Plymouth described in the Schedule hereto.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A STREET.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a street: 0·32 perch.
Being Sub. 1, D.P. 4744, being portion of Lot 1, D.P. 1268, part of N.R. 14, Town of New Plymouth (New Plymouth R.D.), (Borough of New Plymouth).
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66806, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for a Further Portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication) in the Borough of Lower Hutt.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the twentieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 24 of the twenty-second day of the same month, taking land for a further portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication) in the Borough of Lower Hutt as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land not required: 24 perches.
Being Lot 56, D.P. 1305, being part Section 17 (Hutt R.D.). Situated in the Borough of Lower Hutt, Block XIII, Belmont Survey District. (S.O. 2074.)
In the Wellington Land District, as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 65894, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

Defining the Middle Line of a Road in Blocks V, Tahoraiti, and XI, Woodville Survey Districts—viz., Matahiwi Hill Deviation, being Part of the Napier to Wellington (via Wairarapa) Main Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Public Works Amendment Act, 1923, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of the road desired to be constructed over Blocks V, Tahoraiti, and XI, Woodville Survey Districts—viz., Matahiwi Hill Deviation, being part of the Napier to Wellington (via Wairarapa) Main Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING AT a point on the Napier to Wellington (via Wairarapa) Main Highway near the north-western boundary of Lot 3 on deposited plan No. 3675, Block V, Tahoraiti Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, passing in, into, through, or over the said Lot 3 and Lot 1, Napier Borough Reserve, Block XI, Woodville Survey District, and terminating at a point on the said main highway on the north-western boundary of the said Lot 1, Napier Borough Reserve; being a distance of 68 chains, more or less: including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and water-courses. All in the Hawke’s Bay Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66778, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of September, 1926.
