Kohekohe Main Road Loan, £2,000.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Franklin County Council Kohekohe Main Road Special-rating Area Loan of £2,000 (1926), authorized to be raised by the Franklin County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of shelling portion of the Kohekohe Main Road, the said Franklin County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-fifths of a penny (3/5ths d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Kohekohe Main Road Special-rating Area, being part of Awhitu Riding of the County of Franklin, being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Urquhart’s Road (Karaka) Loan, £600.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Franklin County Council Urquhart’s Road (Karaka) Special-rating Area Loan of £600 (1926), authorized to be raised by the Franklin County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling Urquhart’s Road, Karaka, the said Franklin County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five-sixteenths of a penny (5/16ths d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Urquhart’s Road (Karaka) Special-rating Area, being part of the Karaka Riding of the County of Franklin, being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto: and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
