Minister's Decisions under Customs Acts.
Customs Department, Wellington, 31st August, 1926.
IT is hereby notified for public information that the Hon. the Minister of Customs has decided to interpret the
Customs Acts in relation to the undermentioned articles as follows :
NOTE.-"Not elsewhere included" appears as n.e.i.; "other kinds" as o.k.; "articles and materials suited for, and to be used
solely in, the fabrication or repair of goods within New Zealand" as a. and m.s. Articles marked thus + are revised decisions.

Goods.

Castings of “Cronite” (a chromium-
nickel alloy), in the rough, for making
damper valves for a water-gas generator
Dolls, materials for making, viz.,—
Metal heads
“Nekal S” paste for use in scouring and
dyeing solutions to promote “ wetting
out ”
Stoves and ranges, &c., fittings for,
viz.,—
Electric fittings for the manufacture
of electric stoves—viz., electric elements in which the resistor or resistance is embedded in the refractory material; also resistor supports of fireclay or other refractory material, formed by moulding or baking, suited for the manufacture of open-type electric elements ; on declaration by a manufacturer of electric cooking-stoves that they will be used solely in the manufacture (not including repair) by him of such stoves
Tanners', curriers', and fellmongers' requisites, viz.,—

“ Reynolds ” low-pressure service regulator, an appliance for placing on the gas-pipe supplying the consumer, for reducing the pressure of gas
