All that area in the County of Wanganui bounded on the
north by the Mangawhero Riding (hereinbefore described)
from the City of Wanganui (hereinbefore described) to the
north-eastern corner of Section 304, Block I, Wangaehu
Survey District; thence along the eastern boundaries of
Sections 304, 303, 302, and 301, Block I aforesaid, to the
south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence
along the southern boundaries of Sections 300, Block I afore-
said, Sections 299 and 235, Block IV, Ikitara Survey District,
and Sections 230, 228, 229, and 256, Block VIII, to the
Matarawa Stream; thence along that stream and Section
247, Block VIII aforesaid, to the north-eastern corner of
Section 198, Block VII, Ikitara Survey District; thence
along the last-mentioned section, and Sections 197, 196, 195,
178, 128, 127, 126, 125, 124, 123, 59, and 58, Block VII
aforesaid, Sections 57, 56, 55, 54, 53, 52, 51, 50, 49, and
48, Block VI, and Sections 47, 46, and 45, Block V, to the
north-western corner of Section 45, Block I, Ikitara Survey
District; thence southerly along the western boundary of
said Section 45 to the boundary of the City of Wanganui;
thence by that boundary to the point of commencement.
BOUNDARIES OF WESTMERE RIDING, COUNTY OF WAITOTARA.
All that area in the County of Waitotara bounded on the
north-east by the Brunswick Riding (hereinafter described)
from the south-eastern boundary of the Kai Iwi Block to the
City of Wanganui (hereinbefore described); thence south-
westerly, westerly, and north-westerly generally along that
boundary to the sea-coast; thence north-westerly along the
sea-coast to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary
of the Kai Iwi Block; thence north-easterly to and along
that boundary to the south-western boundary of the Bruns-
wick Riding, the place of commencement.
BOUNDARIES OF BRUNSWICK RIDING, COUNTY OF WAITOTARA.
All that area in the County of Waitotara bounded by a line
commencing at a point in the middle of the Wanganui River
in line with the southern boundary of the Tauwhare Block;
thence down the middle of the Wanganui River to a point
in line with the western boundary of the City of Wanganui
(hereinbefore described); thence to and along the city
boundary to its intersection with the south-western boundary
of Section 16, right bank Wanganui River; thence north-
westerly along the south-western boundaries of Sections 16,
47, and 131, right bank Wanganui River, to the westernmost
corner of the last-mentioned section; thence north-easterly
along the road forming the north-western boundary of the
said Section 131 to the north-eastern boundary of Section
108 of the said right bank; thence along that boundary to
the north-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence
north-easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections
89, 90, and 91 to the southern boundary of Section 92, all of
the said right bank; thence along the south-western and
north-western boundaries of Section 92 aforesaid, the north-
western boundary of Section 93, right bank, to the southern
boundary of Section 158; thence along the south-western
and north-western boundaries of Section 158 and the south-
western and north-western boundaries of Section 171 to
the Mowhanau Stream; thence down the middle of the
Mowhanau Stream to the north-western boundary of Section
246, Block I, Westmere Survey District; thence along the
north-western boundary of Section 246 to the middle of the
Puketotara Stream; thence down the middle of that stream
to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary of the
Kai Iwi Block; thence north-easterly along the said south-
eastern boundary of the Kai Iwi Block to the Kowhatunui
Road; thence along that road to the Kai Iwi Stream, and
down the middle of that stream to its confluence with the
Karemu Stream; thence up the middle of that stream and
along the western and northern boundaries of the Rangitatau
No. 1b Block (Paeroa Block) to the Mangaone Stream; thence
down the middle of that stream to its confluence with that
Kai Iwi Stream; thence up the middle of the Kai Iwi Stream
to its intersection with the southern boundary of the Tau-
whare Block, and easterly along that boundary and its pro-
duction to the middle of the Wanganui River, the place of
commencement.

Acclimatization Society on the 2nd day of July, 1926, has

PURSUANT to section 12, Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I
have the honour to inform you that a poll of ratepayers
was held in this borough on the 8th day of July, 1926, for
the purpose of deciding whether a loan of £6,700 should be
raised for part drainage of the eastern portion of this borough,
the voting being as follows:—
For the proposal, 84; against the proposal, 57.
I therefore duly declare that the poll was carried.

197, and the number of votes against the proposal being 113.
I have therefore declared the proposal duly carried.
