Amendments to the Regulations under the Government Railways Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of August, 1926.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Government Railways Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the regulations made under the said Act on the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, by adding to the Second Schedule thereto the following regulations:—

“2. (a.) Engineering (civil, mechanical, and draughting) cadets shall on being promoted to Grade 7 be paid the rate provided for in Subgrade 2 of the said grade.

“10. Boilermakers who at the date of the gazetting of this Order in Council are engaged at operating acetone or quasi-arc electric welding plant shall while so engaged be paid 1½d. per hour in addition to the rates prescribed for boilermakers in Subclass 2 of Class 2, Locomotive (Second Division).”

Consenting to stopping Portion of Road in Block II, Taramarama Survey District, Wairoa County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of August, 1926.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Wairoa County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 1 acre 0 roods 10·6 perches, adjoining or passing through Raupo Block, Section 4.

Situated in Block II, Taramarama Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 1252, brown.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66586, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Government Railways Act, 1908, and all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the regulations made under the said Act on the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, by omitting therefrom the First Schedule (fixing scales of salaries and wages, and the increments thereto for members, probationers, and apprentices in the Department), and substituting therefor the Schedule here following. This regulation shall be deemed to have come into operation on the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.
