Total number of valid votes recorded, 25 ; for the proposal, 21 ; against the proposal, 4.
As the total number of votes recorded in favour of the proposal are more than three-fifths of the total number of valid votes recorded, I hereby declare the proposal to be carried.

Loan of £2,000 for metalling certain Portions of the Port Waikato to Tuakau Bridge Road.

Pursuant to the provisions of section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that the following is the result of a poll of the ratepayers of the Port Waikato—Tuakau Bridge No. 4 Special-rating District of the County of Raglan taken on the 17th day of July, 1926, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £2,000 for the purpose of metalling certain portions of the Port Waikato to Tuakau Bridge Road :—

Total number of valid votes recorded, 30 ; for the proposal, 30 ; against the proposal, Nil.
As the total number of votes recorded in favour of the proposal are more than three-fifths of the total number of valid votes recorded, I hereby declare the proposal to be carried.
