authorized to be raised by the Kairanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act, and in pursuance of an Order in Council dated the 24th day of May, 1926, for the purpose of widening and remetalling Napier Road and treating the surface with tar and asphalts, the said Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fortieth (1/40th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Mangaone Riding in the County of Kairanga ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

ONEHUNGA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Onehunga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Onehunga Borough Supplementary Roading Loan of £7,500, 1926, being 10 per cent. additional to a loan of £75,000, authorized to be raised by the Onehunga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of the formation of the whole of the roads in the borough in bitumen and macadam, the kerbing, channelling, and forming of approximately 37½ miles of footpaths, and the purchase of the plant necessary for the formation and maintenance of the same, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five thirty-seconds of a penny (5/32nds of 1d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Onehunga ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st days of May and November in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

HELENSVILLE TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Helensville Town Board hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a supplementary loan of five hundred pounds (£500), being a further sum equal to one-tenth of the amount of a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000) originally authorized to be raised by the Helensville Town Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of increasing the storage capacity of the water-supply for the Helensville Town District, the said Helensville Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Helensville Town District ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan of five hundred pounds (£500), and be payable yearly on the 15th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTIONS MAKING SPECIAL RATES.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Piako County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
Loan of £2,150.
That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £2,150, authorized to be raised by the Piako County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling 78 chains of Motumaho-Tauhei Road from the junction of Hangawera Road to the southern boundary of part Section 3 of 5, Hangawera, and 67 chains of Reay and Watson’s Road, the said Piako County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence and one halfpenny (2½d.) in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the Motumaho-Tauhei Road Special-rating Area, being bounded as follows :—
Commencing at a point on the Drain Reserve, being the north-west corner of Section part 6 and 7 on D.P. 3458A of Hangawera Block, Block IV, Komokorau Survey District ; thence following the Drain Reserve in an easterly direction, being the northern boundaries of the said Section part 6 and 7 ; Lots 3 of 5 and 3 of 11/12, Hangawera Block, to a point on the said Section 3 of 11/12, being about 15 chains from the Motumaho-Tauhei Road ; thence in a south-easterly direction parallel with the Motumaho-Tauhei Road for about 85 chains to the Hangawera Road ; thence in a south-westerly direction along the northern side of Hangawera Road and in a direct line following the southern boundary of Lot 7, Hangawera Block, to the Confiscation-line ; thence in a northerly direction following the Confiscation-line to the north-west corner of the said Lot 7 ; thence following the northern boundary of Lot 7 in an easterly direction for about 20 chains ; thence in a north-westerly direction following the boundary of part Section 6 and 7, Hangawera, to the point of commencement ;
and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Loan of £5,250.
That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £5,250, authorized to be raised by the Piako County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling the Tauhei Road from Horrell’s Bridge to the Confiscation-line, the said Piako County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence and seven-eighths (2⅞d.) of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the Tauhei Road Special-rating Area, being bounded as follows :—
Commencing at a point on the Confiscation-line, being the north-west corner of Hoe-o-Tainui No. 1, Block XII, Hapuakohe Survey District ; thence in a south-easterly direction following the north-east boundary of Hoe-o-Tainui South No. I for a distance of 3½ miles to the Trig. Station marked Hangawera on county litho ; thence in a southerly direction following the eastern boundary of Section 2, Hangawera Block, to the north-west corner of Section 3, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District ; thence in an easterly direction, following the northern boundary of the said Section 3 for a distance of about 30 chains ; thence due north through the centre of Section 3 to a public road, across the public road, and along the north-east boundary of Section part 5, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District, to the north-west corner of Section 33, Mangatapu Settlement ; thence following the public road in a southerly and south-easterly direction to the south-east corner of Section 2 of Block I, Maungakawa Survey District ; thence in an easterly direction following the south boundaries of Section 2, Block I, Maungakawa Survey District, and Lot 3, Hangawera Block, to the Drain Reserve ; thence in a north-westerly direction following the western boundary of Lot 3, Hangawera, to a point on Section part 4, Hangawera, being distant about 15 chains from a public road ; thence in a westerly direction through the centre of Section part 4, Hangawera, to the Motumaho-Tauhei Road ; thence in a northerly direction for about 10 chains ; thence across the public road and through the centre of Lot 1 of Section 5, Hangawera, in a westerly direction, for about 25 chains ; thence in a south-westerly direction through Lot 2 of 5, Hangawera, to the Drain Reserve ; thence following the Drain Reserve in a westerly direction to the Confiscation-line ; thence in a northerly direction following the Confiscation-line to the point of commencement ;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Loan of £250.
That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £250, authorized to be raised by the Piako County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling Seales Road for the first time, the said Piako County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence and three farthings (2¾d.) in the
