DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between PEARL CROWLEY and AGNES ETHEL COOPER, carrying on business at Hastings as Costumiers under the style or firm of “Couper et Cie,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of June, 1926. The said business will in future be carried on by the said PEARL CROWLEY alone, who will receive and pay all debts owing to or by the said Partnership business.

DARGAVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Dargaville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Dargaville Borough Water-main Replacement Loan of £1,250, 1926, authorized to be raised by the Dargaville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of laying cast-iron water-mains, together with all necessary fittings and connections, under the footpaths in Victoria Street for the purpose of eliminating the existing faulty mains and service connections under the carriage-way, contingencies, first year’s interest and sinking fund, the said Dargaville Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three thirty-seconds (3/32nds) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Dargaville ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

TAURANGA ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Tauranga Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Tauranga Electric-power Board supplementary loan of £10,000 (1926), being 10 per cent. additional to a loan of £100,000 authorized to be raised by the Tauranga Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose—the sum of £99,500 for the purpose of purchasing and constructing electric works within the meaning of and pursuant to the Electric-power Boards Act, 1908, and of supplying electric current in the Tauranga Electric-power District, and purchasing, acquiring, constructing, erecting, and supplying the necessary lands, buildings, offices, right-of-ways, roads, power-stations, substations, transmission-lines, poles, transformers, wires, machinery, motors, switch-boards, lamps, equipment, fittings, and other electrical appliances and plant, and providing compensation for any lands taken or injuriously affected by the aforesaid works ; and the sum of £500 for repayment of moneys borrowed by way of overdraft pursuant to lawful authority within twelve months after the first election of the Board—such amount of £100,000 being insufficient to complete the works for which such loan was raised—the said Tauranga Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Tauranga Electric-power District ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

COUNTY OF THAMES.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Thames County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and sinking fund and other charges on a loan authorized to be raised by the Thames County Council by special order passed by the Council on the 14th day of April, 1926, and confirmed on the 26th day of May, 1926, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by sections 6 and 7 of the Local Bodies’ Finance Act, 1921, of one thousand six hundred and fifty pounds (£1,650) for the purpose of repaying the existing overdraft with the Bank of New Zealand borrowed by the Council in pursuance of section 7 of the Local Bodies’ Finance Act, 1921, to make good loss and damage sustained by flood, the said Thames County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eleventh (1/11th) of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the County of Thames ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN accordance with the provisions of section 5 of the Water-supply Amendment Act, 1913, it is hereby notified that the Waimate County Council has duly appointed the following to be members of the Lower Waihao Water-race Managing Ratepayers Committee, and that it has conferred on such Committee all the powers of management it possesses in respect of all water-races supplying the Lower Waihao Water-race District, viz. :—
