A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Scenery Preservation Act,
1908, and subsection two of section twelve of the Reserves
and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering
Act, 1925, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall be a reserve for scenic purposes under the provisions of the first-mentioned Act, and do further hereby
vest the control of the said land in the Auckland City Council.
SCHEDULE.
WAITAKEREI SCENIC RESERVE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 652 acres 2 roods, more or less, being
Lot 2 of Allotment 8, Parish of Waitakerei. As the same
is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and
S. 4/36, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of June,

Revoking the Reservation over a Scenic Reserve in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the tenth day of July,
one thousand nine hundred and eight, and published
in the New Zealand Gazette of the sixteenth day of that month,
the land described in the Schedule hereto was declared a reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1903, and subject
to the provisions of that Act and the Scenery Preservation
Amendment Act, 1906:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic
purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value,
and the growth of blackberry and noxious weeds:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by
section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act,
1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes
over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 6, Block VIII, Rotorua Survey District: Area, I acre
I rood 10 perches, more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of June,
1926.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests
Act, 1921-22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
set apart the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto
as provisional State forests.
SCHEDULE.
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.-ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVATION
REGION.
Provisional State Forest No. 75.
ALL that area, containing by admeasurement 290 acres
2 roods, more or less, being Section 6, Block IV, Waioeka
Survey District. Bounded generally as follows : towards the
north-east by a road on the bank of the Te Waiti Stream ; on
the east and south by Sections 5 and 7, Block IV aforesaid ;
on the west by Section 9, Block XII, Opotiki Survey District;
and towards the north-west by Section 8, Block XII aforesaid.
As the same is more particularly delineated on plan numbered
40/2, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service
at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Provisional State Forest No. 76.
All that area containing by admeasurement 625 acres,
more or less, being Section 4, Block II, Waioeka Survey
District. Bounded generally as follows : towards the west
and north by a road, part Provisional State Forest No. 41
(New Zealand Gazette, 1920, page 2117); again towards the
north and towards the east by Section 2, Block II aforesaid;
again towards the east by the abutment of a road and Crown
land in Block II aforesaid; and towards the south by Tahora
2B Section 2. As the same is more particularly delineated on
plan numbered 40/I, deposited in the Head Office of the State
Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of
June, 1926.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Lands
other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
June, 1926.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
On the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of eighteen months the Order in Council dated the seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and gazetted the fifteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, prohibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto, other than alienation in favour of the Crown.
