A New Street off Wright Street, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 12th day of January, 1926.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, viz:—

“The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the new street constructed on the western side of Wright Street through Town Section 705, the said new road being more particularly delineated on plan marked P.W.D. 59293 deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works Department, the said street extending for an approximate distance of 436 links from its junction with Wright Street”; subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting either side of the new street off Wright Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of twenty-three feet from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that street situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, being a new street off the western side of Wright Street through part of Town Section 705, Town of Wellington. As the said street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 64090, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Fixing Amount of Principal and Interest payable under Section 193 of the Counties Act, 1920, in respect of Advances for the Erection of Workers’ Dwellings.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section one hundred and ninety-three of the Counties Act, 1920, as amended by section ten of the Counties Amendment Act, 1921–22, and section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1922, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the amount of principal and interest respectively to be paid by instalments during each period of six months in respect of an advance to a worker under that section shall be calculated according to such one of the tables in the Schedule hereto as the case may require.

TABLE A.

AMOUNT of PRINCIPAL and INTEREST payable during each Period of Six Months for every £100 of Unpaid Purchase-money or Loan at 6 per Centum Interest for a Period of Thirty-six Years and a Half.
