Commencing at the south-east corner of N.R. 43, Block IV, Waitara Survey District, and proceeding in a southerly direction to and across the Urenui Stream; thence westerly along the southern bank of the said stream to the northernmost corner of Section 6, Block VIII, Waitara Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along the Urenui Registration District boundary to the Onairo Stream; thence southerly along the eastern bank of the said Onairo Stream to the southern side of the Ohanga Road; thence in a south-westerly direction along the south-eastern side of the said road to its junction with the Stockman Road; thence following the south-eastern boundary of the Tikorangi Registration District in a south-westerly direction to the Waitara River; thence following the eastern bank of the Waitara River in a south-easterly direction to the intersection of the said river with the southern boundary of the Waitara Survey District.

Also all that area in the Huiroa Survey District north-eastward of the line hereinafter described: Commencing at a point on the southern bank of the Taramouku Stream at its confluence with the Waitara River, thence south-westerly by a right line to the north-east corner of Section 8, Block III, Huiroa Survey District; thence westerly along the northern boundary of the said Section 8 to the north-east corner of Block II, Huiroa Survey District; thence southerly along the said block boundary to the north-east corner of Block VI, Huiroa Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Block VI, Huiroa Survey District, to the south-west corner of Section 5, Block VII, Huiroa Survey District; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Sections 5 and 6, to the south-east corner of Section 6, Block VII, Huiroa Survey District; thence generally southerly along the eastern boundary of the Taitama Settlement to the south-east corner of Section 4s, Taitama Settlement; thence generally easterly along the southern boundary of Section 18, Block VII, Huiroa Survey District, to and across the River Road Reserve and Makino Stream to the eastern bank of the said Makino Stream; thence generally easterly along the said Makino Stream to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 20, Block XII, Huiroa Survey District produced; thence in a south-easterly direction across the Kaikoura Road and along the south-west boundary of Section 20, Block XII, Huiroa Survey District, to the eastern boundary of the Huiroa Survey District.

Also all that area in the Omona Survey District eastward of the line hereinafter described: Commencing at the westernmost corner of Section 12, Block II, Omona Survey District, at a point on the eastern bank of the Mangaotuku Stream, thence south-easterly along the eastern bank of the said stream to its confluence with the Mangaehu Stream; thence southerly across the Mangaehu Stream to its southern bank, thence generally south-westerly following the said Mangaehu Stream to its confluence with the Patea River; thence in a southerly direction following the eastern bank of the said Patea River to the northern boundary of the Opaku Survey District.

Also all that area in the Opaku Survey District eastward of the line hereinafter described. Commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the said survey district at its intersection with the Patea River on its eastern bank, thence generally in a southerly direction along the eastern bank of the said Patea River to a point in line with the south-western boundary produced of Section 11, Block XIV, Opaku Survey District; thence south-easterly across the road reserve to the south-west corner of the said Section 11; thence south-easterly along the south-west boundary of the said Section 11, Block XIV, Opaku Survey District, to and across the Maben Road and to and across the Kaharoa Road to the northernmost corner of Section 1, Block XIV, Opaku Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern side of the Kaharoa Road to the northern boundary of the Carlyle Survey District.

Excluding from the above descriptions all land therein classified as town, village, or suburban lands.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in the Kaitieke and Waimarino Counties, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Wanganui River and the Makakomiko Stream, being the north-western corner of Section 20, Block IV, Hunua Survey District, and proceeding in an easterly and south-easterly direction along the northern boundary of the said Section 20, the northern and eastern boundaries of part Section 12, and the northern boundary of Section 11, Block IV, Hunua Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; again towards the east by the northern boundaries of Blocks IX and X, Hunua Survey District, to the North Island Main Trunk Railway line; thence towards the south generally by the said railway-line to its intersection with the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block IV, Makotuku Survey District; thence towards the west generally by the northern boundaries of Blocks IV, III, and II, Makotuku Survey District, to the south-western corner of Section 20, Block XIV, Manganui Survey District; thence towards the north-west generally by the western boundaries of the said Section 20, Sections 10, 9A, and 9, and the south-western boundaries of Section 8, 5, and 4, Block XIII, Manganui Survey District, and part of the south-western boundary of Section 5, Block IX, Manganui Survey District, to the Pikiariki Trig. Station; thence again towards the west generally by the northern boundaries of Waimarino No. 3 Block and Sections 9 and 6, Block XV, Whirinaki Survey District, and part of the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Waimarino No. 5 Block to the Whirinaki Trig. Station; thence towards the south-west by the north-western boundary of the said Waimarino No. 5 Block to the Wanganui River; thence towards the north and north-east generally by the left bank of the Wanganui River to the confluence of the Makokomiko Stream, the place of commencement.

Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in the Patea and Waitotara Counties, bounded towards the north-west generally by the boundary-line between the Wellington and Taranaki Land Districts from the junction of the said boundary-line and the Ridge Road in Block V, Momahaki Survey District, to the Wanganui River; towards the east generally by the Wanganui River to the north-eastern corner of Subdivision 4c 1b No. 2 of Te Tuhi Block, situated in Block II, Waipakura Survey District; towards the south generally by the north-western boundaries of the said subdivision 4c 1b No. 2 and part of Subdivision 4c No. 1A, Te Tuhi Block (scenic reserve), to the easternmost corner of Section 2, Block II, Waipakura Survey District; thence proceeding towards the north-west generally by the eastern and northern boundaries of the said Section 2 of Block II, the north-eastern boundary of Section 2, and the north-eastern and part of the north-western boundaries of Section 1, Block I, Waipakura Survey District, to the Kaitui Trig. Station; thence towards the south-west and west generally by part of the south-eastern boundary of Section 4, Block XIII, Tauakira Survey District, and the southern boundaries of Sections 3 and 2, Block XVI, Momahaki Survey District, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence by the Rangitatau East Road to the northern boundary of Lot 11, Rangitatau Block; thence by the northern boundary of the said Lot 11, the southern boundary of Section 12, Block XIV, Momahaki Survey District, and the southern boundaries of Sections 9 and 8, Block II, Nukumaru Survey District, to and across the Waitotara River; thence towards the north by the said Waitotara River to the southern boundary of Section 2, Block XIII, Momahaki Survey District; thence by the southern boundary of the said Section 2 and the southern and western boundaries of Section 28, the western boundary of Section 27, and the south-western boundary of Section 29, Block XIII, Momahaki Survey District, to the Mangawhio Road; thence by the said Mangawhio Road and the Ridge Road to the boundary between the Wellington and Taranaki Land Districts, the place of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of January, 1926.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 2 acres 3 roods 34 perches.
