A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Avon Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road :—

SECOND SCHEDULE.

All situated in Block II, Avon Survey District. (S.O.R. 378.)
All in the Marlborough Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 64790, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of January, 1926.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three of the Deteriorated Lands Act, 1925, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the lands described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of the Deteriorated Lands Act, 1925.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District comprised in the County of Kawhia and in that part of the County of Waitomo included within the Land District of Auckland.
Also all that area comprised in the Survey Districts of Wharepapa, Rotorua, Rotoiti, Patetere South, Ngautuku, Horohoro West, Horohoro, Tarawera, Te Atiamuri, Ngongotaha, and Paeroa.
Also all that area comprised in the undermentioned portions of the following survey districts: Ranginui, Blocks I, II, and III; Pirongia, Blocks IX, X, XI, XII, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI; Orahiri, Blocks I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII; Puniu, Block XIII; Karioi, Blocks X, XI, XIV, XV; Alexandra, Block XIII.
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Gisborne Land District commencing at Trig. Station 1311, at the south-east corner of Torere No. 4 Block, situated in Block XII, Waiawa Survey District, proceeding in an easterly direction by the southern boundary of Provisional State Forest Reserve, Lot 1 of Kapuarangi No. 1 East No. 2, and by Provisional State Forest Reserve to the centre of the Motu River, Block X, Waiawa East Survey District; thence southerly by the centre of the Motu River and the Whakapaupakihī Stream to its intersection with the northern boundary of Motu No. 1, and by that boundary to Trig. Station 149A; thence south-westerly along a right line to Pokikiti Trig. Station and the north-westerly boundaries of Section 2, Block V, Sections 2, 1, and 4, Block IX, Motu Survey District, and Sections 3, 2, and 1, Block XII, Moanui Survey District, and Small Grazing-runs 90 and 89 to the middle of the Koranga River; thence down that river to its junction with the Waioeka River on the eastern boundary of Provisional State Forest Reserve; thence northerly by the eastern boundary of the said reserve and Tahora 2B 2 Block; thence westerly by the northern boundary of the said Tahora 2B 2 Block to the south-east corner of Section 3, Block I, Waioeka Survey District; thence northerly by the eastern boundary of Sections 3 and 2, Block I, Waioeka Survey District, to the north-east corner of the said Section 2; thence westerly by the northern boundary of the aforesaid Section 2 to the south-east corner of Allotment 456, Parish of Waiotahi; thence generally in a north-easterly direction by the southern boundary of the said Parish of Waiotahi and the Parish of Waioeka to the eastern corner of Allotment 271 of the last-mentioned parish; thence south-easterly by the south-west boundary of the Opape 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 12 and Whitikau 3B 1 Blocks to the south-east corner of the last-mentioned block; thence generally northerly and easterly by the eastern boundary of Whitikau 3B 1, Opape No. 12, and the southern boundary of Torere Section 4 Block to the point of commencement at Trig. Station 1311. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3466, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered blue. And excluding from the said area the following Native Blocks: Whitikau 3A, containing 3,900 acres; Oamaru 2B 2, containing 664 acres; Oamaru 2B 5, containing 688 acres; Oamaru 2B 6, containing 329 acres; Whakapaupakihī 2, containing 2,000 acres; and Whakapaupakihī 4, containing 1,172 acres: be all the aforesaid areas more or less, as delineated on the above-mentioned plan, and thereon coloured yellow.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District comprised in the following survey districts: Totoro, Mapara, Pahi, Tainui, Mokau, Aria, Tangitu, Waro, Ohura, Rangi, Piopiotea West, Upper Waitara, Pouatu, Heao, Ngatimaru, Mahoe, Kiri, Taurakawa, Omara, Kapara, and Tua Survey Districts.
Also all that area in the Mimi Survey District eastward of the line hereinafter described. Commencing at the mouth of the Waikaramarama Stream and following the Pukearuhe Registration District boundary in a southerly direction to the south-east corner of Section 33, Pukearuhe Registration District, Block X, Mimi Survey District, being a point on the southern boundary of Mimi Survey District.
