- The portion of the Bull’s-Taumarunui Main Highway from the northern boundary of the Bull’s Town District to the southern boundary of the Hunter- ville Town District.
- The portion of the Greatford-Ashurst (via Feilding) Main Highway from its junction with the Bull’s- Taumarunui Main Highway to the Rangitikei River.
Roads classified in the Third Class (available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry which, with the maximum load it is licensed to carry, weighs not more than 6 tons)—
- The portion of the Bull’s-Taumarunui Main Highway from the northern boundary of the Hunterville Town District to its intersection with the Main Trunk Rail- way line about two miles south of Waiouru.
- The Taihape-Napier Main Highway, from its junction with the Bull’s-Taumarunui Main Highway to Moa- whango.

Classification of Roads in the Southland County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Motor-lorry Regulations, 1925, and the Motor- lorry Regulations Amendment No. 1, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Public Works, do hereby approve of the Southland County Council’s proposed classification of roads as set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
CLASSIFICATION OF ROADS IN THE SOUTHLAND COUNTY.
Roads classified in the Fourth Class (available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry which, with the maximum load it is licensed to carry, weighs not more than 4 tons)—
That portion of the Kennington-Waikawa Main Highway known as the Tokanui-Waikawa Road from Shoot Road at Section 5, Block IV, Waikawa Survey District, to Baxter’s Quarry near Section 27, Block VII, Waikawa Survey District, a distance of about five and a quarter miles.
That portion of the Chaslands Road from Tokanui- Waikawa Road Junction at Section 8, Block VII, Waikawa Survey District, to the junction of Progress Valley Road at Section 9, Block VII, Waikawa Survey District, a distance of about half a mile.
Roads classified in the Fifth Class (available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry which, with the maximum load it is licensed to carry, weighs not more than 2½ tons)—
That portion of the Tokanui-Haldane Road from junction of Kennington-Waikawa Main Highway near Tokanui at Section 9, Block IV, Otara Survey District, to junction of Otara-Haldane Road at Section 30, Block X, Waikawa Survey District, a distance of about five miles and a half.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Motor-lorry Regulations, 1925, and the Motor- lorry Regulations Amendment No. 1, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Public Works, do hereby alter the Tauranga County Council’s proposed classification of roads, and do hereby approve of such altered classification as set forth in the Schedule hereto.

Roads classified in the Fourth Class (available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry which, with the maximum load it is licensed to carry, weighs not more than 4 tons)—
Whakatane-Tauranga Highway—
(a.) Length from Otamarakau to Paengaroa Junction with Te Ngae Highway.
(b.) Length from Paengaroa Junction and Te Puke Town Board eastern boundary.
(c.) Length from Te Puke Town Board western boundary to Papamoa Railway-station.
(d.) Length from Papamoa Railway-station to Tauranga Borough boundary.
Te Ngae – Paengaroa Highway.
Tauranga-Matamata Highway—
(a.) Length from borough boundary to junction of Oropi Road.
(b.) Junction Oropi Road to county boundary.
Tauranga-Waihi Highway—
(a.) County boundary to Wairoa Bridge.
(b.) From Wairoa Bridge to Aongatete.
(c.) Aongatete to county boundary.
