Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in the Town of Hector, Nelson Land District.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a site for a post-office, being a purpose within Class II of the Second Schedule of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 :
And whereas it is expedient that such land should be appropriated for recreation purposes, being a purpose within Class III of the said Second Schedule :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the eleventh section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, do by this notification declare that the said land shall, from and after the eighteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, be appropriated for recreation purposes under Class III of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 ; and I do hereby direct that this notification shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being part of Section 79A, Town of Hector. Bounded towards the north-east by Greenfield Street, 204·2 links ; towards the south-east by Pitt Street, 116·9 links ; towards the south-west by a line parallel to the north-east boundary, 223·7 links ; and towards the north-west by the road along the coast of Tasman Sea : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 5923/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington and thereon coloured red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 4th day of June, 1926.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Timber Reserve in Canterbury Land District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section two of the Public Reserves Sale Act, 1888, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be reserved, and do direct that the said land may be sold or otherwise disposed of under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 0 roods 7 perches, more or less, and being Reserve No. 165, Block IV, Orari Survey District, bounded as follows : Towards the north by Rural Section 823, 1004 links ; towards the east by a road-line, 503·5 links ; towards the south by Rural Sections 27083 and 27889, 1002·6 links ; and again towards the west by other part of Rural Section 27889, 502·2 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 9/1650, deposited in Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
