DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between GAVIN WALLACE and EDGAR STANMORE DAY, carrying on business as Hardware-merchants at Delta Buildings, Anzac Avenue, Auckland, under the firm name or style of “Wallace, Day, and Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the date hereof. The said business will henceforth be carried on at the above address by the said GAVIN WALLACE alone, under the firm name or style of “G. Wallace and Co.” All moneys payable to and all debts owing by the late Partnership as at the date hereof shall be receivable and payable respectively by the said GAVIN WALLACE.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of members of the above-named company held at the company’s registered office, Emerson Street, Napier, on Monday, the 24th day of May, 1926, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed :—
“That it is proved to the company’s satisfaction that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same; it is hereby resolved that the company go into voluntary liquidation, and that Mr. SAM HARRIS, of Napier, Wholesale Cap-manufacturer, and HORACE BOURGEOIS, of Napier, Public Secretary, be appointed Liquidators to the Company.

DECLARATION OF POLL ON PROPOSAL TO ADOPT SYSTEM OF RATING ON THE UNIMPROVED VALUE.
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 32 of the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1925, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Hutt taken on the 12th day of May, 1926, on the proposal that the system of rating in the said county be on the unimproved value,—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 817; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 954; informal, 50.
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.
