Declaring a Portion of a Main Highway in Highway District No. 10, Featherston County, to be a Government Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of May, 1926.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of the main highway described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of gazetting of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON–Napier via Wairarapa: All that portion of the main highway known as the Wellington–Napier (via Wairarapa) Main Highway, commencing at Abbott’s Creek Bridge (known as No. 4 Rimutaka Bridge), and proceeding thence generally in an easterly and south-easterly direction, and terminating at the boundary of the Borough of Featherston, passing through the County of Featherston, being a distance of 1 mile 40 chains, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.H. 25, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue and marked C–D.

Declaring Portion of the Te Kuiti–Taumarunui Road (Mangapehi–Kopaki Section) in the Waitomo County to be a County Road.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Taranaki Land District, Waitomo County, known as the Te Kuiti–Taumarunui Road (Mangapehi–Kopaki Section), commencing at a point in Part Mangapehi No. 68g 2d, Block V, Mapara Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through part of the said Section No. 68g 2d, Blocks V and IX, Mapara Survey District, and Mangapehi No. 68p, and part of Part Mangapehi No. 68g 2n, Block IX, Mapara Survey District, and terminating at the Main Trunk Railway Crossing in the latter section; being a distance of 1 mile 75 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66024, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Tupua Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of May, 1926.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council dated the twenty-fifth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, and published in the Gazette of the first day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, appointing the Whangarei County Council a Domain Board to have control of the Tupua Domain, and doth hereby appoint

The Kamo Town Board

to be the Tupua Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act: and doth hereby appoint Friday, the eleventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the offices of the Kamo Town Board, as the place where, the first meeting of the said Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

James Francis Banks,
Harry Maurice Croslegh Dampier-Crossley,
Reginald Leslie Jameson,
George Popplewell, and
Tom Clement Robinson

to be the Rotherham Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-sixth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, at half-past two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Rotherham Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

ROTHERHAM DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres 14 perches, more or less, being Reserve 4129, Block IV, Culverden Survey District, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 363, folio 256, Christchurch Registry.
