I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Akaroa Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road :—

Situated in Block VIII, Akaroa Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 1947.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 65933, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of May, 1926.

A PROCLAMATION.
W HEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Crown land, and is required to be set apart for the purposes of the Auckland—Morningside Deviation of the Kaipara—Waikato Railway :
And whereas by section twenty-one of the Public Works Act, 1908, and section two of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1923, it is enacted that whenever any Crown land, public reserve, or public domain is required to be set apart for any public work the Governor-General may at any time, by Proclamation, set the same apart for such public work without complying with any of the provisions of that Act in respect of the taking or setting-apart of other lands for such purpose :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of the Auckland—Morningside Deviation of the Kaipara—Waikato Railway at Auckland; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 21 perches.
Being Lot 87 (D.P. 14125) of Allotments 1 and 2 of Section 12, City of Auckland.
Situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District. (S.O. 23661, blue.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 37549, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of May, 1926.
