FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

THAT for the purpose of providing interest and sinking fund
and other charges on a loan of £7,200 authorized to be
raised by the Feilding Borough Council under the Local Bodies’
Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of paying off the balance of
two loans of the said Council for £7,000 and £2,500 respectively,
repayable in accordance with the terms thereof on the first
day of January, 1926, and the first day of July, 1926, respec-
tively, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate
of three-eighths (⅜) of a penny in the pound sterling on the
rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all
rateable property in the Borough of Feilding, comprising the
whole borough; and that such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan,
and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
ten years, or until the said loan is fully paid off.

OTOROHANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTIONS MAKING SPECIAL RATES.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

Kopua Special Loan.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the
Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of expending £900 on forming, culverting,
and metalling the Otorohanga–Pirongia Road from its junc-
tion with the Ngutunui Road to a point about 20 chains along
frontage of Section Parihoro 3E 4A, Block XI, Pirongia Survey
District, a distance of 2½ miles approximately, £100 for forming,
culverting, and metalling portion of Cannons Road between its
junction with the Otorohanga–Pirongia Road to the north-
east corner of Section 15, Block XII, Pirongia Survey Dis-
trict, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of one penny and a farthing in the pound
upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Kopua
Special-rating Area as described in the Schedule hereto; and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the
first day of April and the first day of October in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
36½ years, or such shorter period as may be determined by the
Council, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE SCHEDULE HEREINBEFORE MENTIONED.

All that area in the Pirongia Survey District commencing
at the north-east corner of Section Kopua 1B 2, where it joins
the Waipa River, following the Waipa River southwards to
the southern boundary of a Native reserve; thence north-
west to Section 3A 2, Takotokoraha; thence along the southern
boundary of the said Section 3A 2 and the southern boundary
of a Crown land section; thence continuing the said Crown
land southern boundary through Section 2, Takotokoraha, to
the Ororohanga Road; thence following the said road north-
ward to the Moakuraruua Stream; thence following the Moa-
kuraruua Stream south-west to the south-east corner of Wai-
whakaata 3E 4B 2; thence along the southern boundary of
the said Section 3E 4B 2 for a distance of 30 chains; thence
south-west through Section 3E No. 1, crossing the Ngutunui
Stream, to the Ngutunui Road; thence along the Ngutunui
Road to a point where it leaves the Block XI boundary of
Section 3E No. 1; thence along Block XI, boundary of Section
3E No. 1, a distance of 30 chains; thence north-east through
the said Section 3E No. 1 to the western boundary of Section
3E 4D; thence bisecting the said Section 3E 4D to the south-
west corner of Section 3E 4A, thence north, east, and north to
the north-west corner of the said section 3E 4A; thence along
the northern boundary of the said section 3E 4A to the north-
east corner of the said Section 3E 4A; thence crossing a road
northward along the western boundary of Section Parihoro
No. 2B. and No. 1A; thence westward along the southern
boundary of Section 10, Kopua; thence north-east along
the western boundary of the said Section No. 10, Kopua;
thence south-east along the eastern boundary of the said Sec-
tion 10 to the northern boundary of Block XII; thence
along the said northern boundary of Block XII, through
Kopua No. 1K, Section 2, to the Moakuraruua Stream; thence
following the said Moakuraruua Stream northward to a lake;
thence following the eastern bank of the said lake northwards
to the point of commencement.

Ngaroma Special Loan.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £1,500, authorized to be raised by the
Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of forming, culverting, and metalling the Te
Kawa–Ngaroma Road, a distance of 5½ miles, the said Oto-
rohanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of five-eighths of a penny in the pound on the rateable
value of all rateable property in the Ngaroma Special-rating
Area as described in the Schedule hereto; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and shall be payable half-yearly on the
first day of April and the first day of October in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
36½ years, or such shorter period as may be determined by
the Council, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE SCHEDULE HEREINBEFORE MENTIONED.

All that area in the Wharepapa Survey District commenc-
ing at the north-west corner of Section 5, Block VI; thence
along the western boundary of the said Section 5; and thence
due south along the western boundaries of Sections 2, 13, 14,
15, 16, Block X, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Block XIV, 8 and 4, Block II;
thence due east along the southern boundaries of Section 4,
Block II, Section 1, Block II, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, of Block III;
thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Section 1,
Block III, Sections 1 and 8, Block XV, Section 1 of Block XI,
the eastern boundary of the forest reserve; thence along the
northern boundary of the forest reserve to the Aotearoa Road
to a point that if the northern boundary of Section 4 were
extended across Section 3 it would connect with the Aotea-
roa Road; from this point across Section 3 to the north-west
corner of Section 4; along the northern boundary of the said
Section 4 to the Waipari Road; across the road to the Manga-
rata Stream; thence following the Mangarata Stream north-
ward to its junction with the Waipari Stream; thence follow-
ing the Waipari Stream, crossing the southern boundary of
Section 2 to a point 40 chains northward; thence westerly
to the Wharepuhunga Road to a point 40 chains north-west
of the southern boundary of Section 2 to the Wharepuhunga
Road; thence following the Wharepuhunga Road south-
easterly to the point of commencement.

Moakuraruua Bridge Loan.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £400, authorized to be raised by the
Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act
for the purpose of constructing a bridge over the Moakuraruua
Stream on the Hauturu–Otorohanga Road, the said Otoro-
hanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special-rate
of seven-eighths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable
value of all rateable property in the Moakuraruua Special-
rating Area as described in the Schedule hereto; and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the
first day of April and the first day of October in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
36½ years, or such shorter period as may be determined by
the Council, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE SCHEDULE HEREINBEFORE MENTIONED.

All that area in the Orahiri and Pirongia Survey Districts,
commencing at the north-west corner of the Provincial State
Forest Reserve No. 2B, thence following the county boundary
southwards along the western boundary of the said Forest
Reserve Section No. 2B; thence following the county bound-
ary along the northern boundaries of Sections 5A and 5;
thence following the western boundary of Section 5; and
thence along the southern boundary of Section 5 and 5A to
a road; thence following the road along the western boundary
southward of Section 2; thence along the southern boundaries
of Sections 2 and 3, following the Orongo Road to the
south-west corner of Section 2, Block II; thence along the
southern boundary of the said Section 2, Block II, to the
Moakuraruua Stream, thence following the Moakuraruua Stream
to its junction with the Hakari Stream; thence following the
Hakari Stream to the south-east corner of Section 12, Block
XIV; thence due north to the north-east corner of Section 13;
thence along the northern boundary of the said Section 13, a
distance of 50 chains; thence due south to the northern
boundary of Section 12; thence westward along the western
boundary of the said Section 12; thence along the northern
boundary of Section 1 and the northern boundary of the
Provincial State Forest Reserve to the point of commence-
ment.

Mangamahoe Special Loan.

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect
of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan
of £150, authorized to be raised by the Otorohanga County
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
metalling the Mangamahoe Road from its junction with the
