eastern boundary of Block V, Ohura Survey District, to the
north-eastern corner of Section 15, Block V, Ohura Survey
District; thence northerly and westerly generally along the
eastern and northern boundaries of Section 5, Block I, Ohura
Survey District, and the northern boundary of Section 4,
Block I, Ohura Survey District, to Arataua Trig. Station;
thence northerly generally along the western boundaries of
Section 1, Block I, Ohura Survey District, and Sections 4, 3,
and 2, Block XIII, Aria Survey District, to the southern
boundary of Block IX, Aria Survey District; thence westerly
along the southern boundaries of Block IX, Aria Survey
District, and Blocks VI and V, Mokau Survey District, to
the eastern boundary of Section 3 (scenic reserve), Block V,
Mokau Survey District; thence northerly along the eastern
boundary of the said Section 3 to the Panirau Stream; thence
northerly to the middle of the Mokau River; thence generally
north-easterly along the middle of the Mokau River to its
confluence with the Paraheka Stream, the point of commence-
ment.
Ohura Riding.-All that area in the Taranaki Land District
bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the
Ohura River at its intersection with the southern boundary
of the Waite whena Riding (hereinbefore described), and pro-
ceeding thence down the middle of that river to the point
nearest the northern boundary of Section 4s, Huia Settle-
ment, Block VI, Ohura Survey District; thence south-
westerly to and across the Kopuha Road to the said northern
boundary; thence generally north-westerly along the northern
boundary and south-westerly along the western boundary of
the said Section 4s to the Huia Road; thence generally
easterly along the north side of the Huia Road to its inter-
section with the north boundary of Mangaroa 2D, Block VI,
Ohura Survey District; thence easterly and southerly along
the northern and eastern boundaries of the said Mangaroa 2D
to the Huia Road; thence in the same line across that road
and southerly generally along the eastern boundary of Manga-
roa 2D aforesaid and the eastern and south-eastern boundaries
of Mangaroa 2E, Block VI, Ohura Survey District, and Sec-
tions 1, 2, and 3, Block IX, Ohura Survey District, and a
prolongation of the last-named boundary to the middle of the
Mangaroa Stream; thence down the middle of the Mangaroa
Stream to a point in line with the north boundary of Sec-
tion 10, Block X, Ohura Survey District; thence north-
westerly to and along that boundary of the said Section 10
and along the north boundaries of Sections 13 and 12, Block
X, Ohura Survey District, to the Tokirima Road; thence
across the said road to the north-east corner of Section 18,
Block IX, Ohura Survey District; thence north-westerly
along the northern boundaries of the said Section 18 and of
Section 8, Block IX, Ohura Survey District, to the Ohura
Road; thence southerly along the eastern side of the Ohura
Road to the westernmost corner of Section 8, Block IX,
Ohura Survey District; thence due westerly across the Ohura
Road and south-westerly along its western side to its inter-
section with the south boundary of Section 1, Block IX,
Ohura Survey District; thence westerly along the south-
western boundary of Block IX, Ohura Survey District, to its
intersection with the north-western boundary of Section 1,
Block XII, Waro Survey District; thence south-westerly
along the north-western boundary of the said Section 1 to its
intersection with the southern boundary of Block XII, Waro
Survey District; thence westerly along the said southern
boundary of Block XII, Waro Survey District, to its inter-
section with the western boundary of Ohura County; thence
northerly generally along the western boundary of Ohura
County to its intersection with the south boundary of Block
V, Mokau Survey District; thence easterly along the south
boundaries of Blocks V and VI, Mokau Survey District, and
Block IX, Aria Survey District, to the western boundary of
Section 2, Block XIII, Aria Survey District; thence southerly
and easterly generally along the south-western and southern
boundaries of Waite whena Riding (hereinbefore described) to
the intersection of the last named boundary with a line down
the middle of the Ohura River, the point of commencement.
Tatu Riding.-All that area in the Taranaki Land District
bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the
western boundary of the Ohura County with the southern
boundary of Block XII, Waro Survey District, and proceed-
ing thence easterly along the southern boundary of Ohura
Riding (hereinbefore described) to the middle of the Mangaroa
Stream; thence down the middle of the Mangaroa Stream to
its confluence with the Ohura River; thence down the middle
of the Ohura River to a point in line with the western bound-
ary of Block XV, Ohura Survey District; thence to and
along that boundary and easterly along the southern boundary
of the said Block XV, Ohura Survey District, to and across
the Otuiti Road in the same line to the western boundary of
Section 1, Block III, Heao Survey District; thence generally
southerly and easterly along the western and southern bound-
aries of the said Section 1 to the northernmost corner of Sub-
division 2 of Koiro Block, Block IV, Heao Survey District;
thence south-easterly and southerly along the north-eastern,
eastern, and eastern boundary produced of the said Subdivi-
sion 2 to the middle of the Wanganui River; thence down
the middle of that river to its confluence with the Ohura
River; thence up the middle of the said river to its inter-
section with the 39th parallel of south latitude; thence
westerly along the 39th parallel of south latitude to the
western boundary of the Ohura County; thence northerly
generally along the western boundary of Ohura County to its
intersection with the southern boundary of Block XII, Waro
Survey District, the point of commencement.
Turoto Riding.-All that area in the Taranaki Land Dis-
trict bounded by a line commencing in the middle of the
Ohura River at a point in line with the north side of the
Ohura Road and proceeding thence north-easterly to and
along the north side of the Ohura Road to a point in line with
the northern boundary of Ohura South K No. 2 Section 2c 3b
in Block III, Ohura Survey District; thence across the Ohura
Road, and easterly, northerly, easterly again, southerly, south-
westerly, and south - easterly along the southern boundary
generally of Niho Niho Riding (hereinbefore described) to Te
Tawa Trig. Station; thence generally southerly along the
western boundary of Taumarunui County to the point of
intersection of the produced western boundary of Section 7,
Block XV, Ohura County, with a line down the middle of
the Ohura River; thence up the middle of the Ohura River
to its confluence with the Mangaroa Stream; thence up the
middle of the Mangaroa Stream to a point in line with the
western boundary of Section 5, Block X, Ohura Survey Dis-
trict; thence northerly generally along the eastern boundary
of the Ohura Riding (hereinbefore described) to its intersec-
tion with the south boundary of the Waite whena Riding
(hereinbefore described), the point of commencement.

Riding Boundaries.

T HE following special order, made by the Waitemata
County Council, is published in accordance with the
provisions of the Counties Act, 1920.
Pursuant to section 100 of that Act, as amended by sec-
tion 3 of the Counties Amendment Act, 1921-22, I hereby
fix the 22nd day of April, 1926, as the date from which the
special order shall take effect.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.
The following special resolution was confirmed by way of
special order :
That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by section 23 of the Counties Act, 1920, the
Waitemata County Council hereby resolves that for the
purpose of more equitable adjustment of the rateable values
of the ridings of the county, that that portion of the county
described in the First Schedule hereto be excluded from
Pukeatua Riding and included in Kumeu Riding.
Also that that portion of the county described in the
Second Schedule hereto be excluded from Kumeu Riding
and included in Pukeatua Riding.
Also that that portion of the county described in the
Third Schedule hereto be excluded from the Pukeatua Riding
and included in the Kaukapakapa Riding.
Also that that portion of the county described in the
Fourth Schedule hereto be excluded from Kaukapakapa
Riding and included in Kumeu Riding.
Also that that portion of the county described in the
Fifth Schedule hereto be excluded from the Waipareira
Riding and included in the Waikumete Riding.
