THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee.
NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the power
and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public
Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921-22, I, the Public Trustee
of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed
Joseph William Hinchey
of the Public Trust Office, Timaru, to be Deputy of the District
Public Trustee, Timaru, during the absence of such District
Public Trustee from his headquarters, and all previous
appointments in this behalf are hereby revoked.
Dated at Wellington this 17th day of April, 1926.

Lieutenant W. H. Evans, from the Waikato Regiment, to
be Lieutenant, 1st C. Battalion, with seniority as from
the 2nd December, 1920.
The Waikato Regiment.
Lieutenant W. A. Evans (1st C. Battalion) is transferred to
the Hauraki Regiment. Dated 21st March, 1926.
Lieutenant R..T. Inman, from the Wellington West Coast
Regiment, to be Lieutenant, 1st Battalion, with seniority
as from the 27th August, 1924.
The North Auckland Regiment.
Harvey Ewart Gaulton to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation),
1st C. Battalion. Dated 22nd March, 1926.
The Wellington Regiment.
2nd Lieutenant D. C. Bryson (1st Battalion) is transferred to
the Auckland Regiment (Countess of Ranfurly's Own).
Dated 1st April, 1926.
2nd Lieutenant R. W. Haddow, D.C.M., from the Wellington
West Coast Regiment, to be 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Battalion,
with seniority as from the 8th September, 1924.
2nd Lieutenant G. J. McNaught, from the Reserve of Officers,
to be 2nd Lieutenant, 3rd C. Battalion. Dated 6th April,
1926.
The notices published in the Gazette dated 4th June, 1920,
28th July, 1921, and 31st August, 1922, relative to Captain
H. J. Thompson, M.C., are hereby cancelled. This officer
held the rank of Lieutenant in the Wellington Regiment
from the 1st March, 1920, to the 6th August, 1922. The
following notice is substituted for that published in the
Gazette dated 31st August, 1922, concerning this officer :-
"Lieutenant H. J. Thompson, M.C., to be Captain,
10th C. Battalion. Dated 7th August, 1922."
The Wellington West Coast Regiment.
Lieutenant R. T. Inman (2nd C. Battalion) is transferred to
the Waikato Regiment. Dated 23rd March, 1926.
2nd Lieutenant R. W. Haddow, D.C.M. (1st Battalion) is
transferred to the Wellington Regiment. Dated 6th April,
1926.
Lieutenant C. L. Lovegrove to be Captain, 1st Battalion.
Dated 19th August, 1925.
The Taranaki Regiment.
2nd Lieutenant T. A. P. Lister (1st C. Battalion) is transferred
to the Auckland Regiment (Countess of Ranfurly's Own).
