HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £300, authorized to be raised by the said Horowhenua County Council under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of forming and metalling a portion of the Te Whanga Road in the Te Whanga Road Special-rating District, the said Horowhenua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five-eighths of one penny (½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Te Whanga Road Special-rating District, comprising Manawatu-Kukutauaki 7d 3 part Lot 23 and Lot 21, deposited plan No. 4921, being part Lots 6, 9/12, deposited plan No. 391, Manawatu-Kukutauaki 7d, Waitarere part 5A, 6A, 6B, 6C, and Manawatu-Kukutauaki 7d 2d 69A and 69B, Blocks XIII and XIV, Mount Robinson Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
