WAIApu COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Waiau County Council hereby resolves as follows :- That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Waiau County Roading Loan of £10,000, 1926, authorized to be raised

by the Waiapu County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making a road to give approach to the Rotokautuku Bridge on the south or right bank of the Waiapu River (£2,000), making a road between the Rotokautuku Bridge and Tikitiki on the northern or left bank of the Waiapu River (£7,000), making a road over the Kai Inanga Hill (£1,000), total £10,000, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixteenth (1/16th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Waiapu ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.-WangaeHu Road METALLING LOAN OF £2,000.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Wanganui County Council hereby resolves as follows :- That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Wanganui County Council under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for metalling the Wangaehu Road in the Upper Wangaehu Riding, the said Wanganui County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing (½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (capital) of all rateable property of the Wangaehu Road Special-rating District, comprising all that portion of the Wanganui County - bounded on the north by the northern boundary of the Wanganui County from the north-western corner of Section 1, Block IV, Ngamatea Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 7, Block IV, Ngamatea Survey District ; on the east and south-east by the eastern boundary of the Ngamatea Survey District and the Koukoupu Stream to the Wangaehu River, and by the Wangaehu River to the most southern corner of Parapara No. 2A 2A Block ; on the south-west and west by the south-western and western boundaries of Parapara 2A 2A and 2B 2L 2 Blocks to the Whareponga Stream ; thence on the south by the Whareponga Stream from the aforesaid Parapara 2B 2L 2 Block to Field's Track ; thence on the west and north-west by Field's Track to the Waokaramu Stream ; thence easterly along the said Waokaramu Stream to the Wangaehu River ; thence on the north and west by the said Wangaehu River from the Waokaramu Stream to the north-western corner of Section 1, Block IV, Ngamatea Survey District, the point of commencement-and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of March and the first day of September in each and every year during the currency if such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
