of Section 12 (Climatic and Forest Reserve), Block XI, Piako
Survey District, and thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 12, 6, 7, 8, and 9 of the said
Block XI, 23 and 24 of Block VII, Piako Survey District,
Waitakaruru 5B 2 and its production to the middle of the
Waitakaruru-Maukoro Canal Reserve ; thence north-westerly
along the middle of the said canal reserve to a point in line
with the south-eastern boundary of Section 48, Block IV,
Piako Survey District ; thence north-easterly by a right line,
the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 48 and 49 of the
said Block IV, to and across the Pouarua Road, to Section 5,
Block I, Waihou Survey District ; thence along the western
and north-western boundaries of Section 5 aforesaid and Lot 1
of Section 6 of the said survey district ; thence south-easterly
along the north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 1 to a point
in line with the southern boundary of Section 7, Block I,
Waihou Survey District ; thence by a right line across the
Pipiroa-Ngatea Road, to and along the southern boundaries
of the said Section 7, and Sections 8 and 40 of the said block
to the western boundary of Section 10 of the said block ;
thence along the western and northern boundaries of the said

along the middle of the Piako River to the north-eastern
corner of the Patetonga Riding ; thence by the northern

commencement.

Certificate.—As required by section 100 of the Counties Act,
1920, I hereby certify that the attached Schedules are a correct
description of the proposed alterations of boundaries of
ridings in the Hauraki Plains County, and are sufficient to
render the new boundaries capable of identification as indicated by coloured borders on the lithos submitted by the

Shooting Season for Imported Game (Sambur or Ceylon Deer),
Counties of Manawatu, Oroua, Kairanga, Rangitikei, and
Horowhenua.


IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals
Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, Richard Francis
Bollard, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby notify that the following imported game
—viz., Sambur or Ceylon deer—may be taken or killed within
the counties of Manawatu, Oroua, Kairanga, Rangitikei, and
Horowhenua (hereinafter called the said district), subject to
the following conditions.


CONDITIONS.

  1. Such deer may be taken or killed within the said district
    from the 1st day of June, 1926, to the 31st day of July, 1926,
    both days inclusive.

  2. A license to take or kill such deer may be issued to any
    person applying for same on payment of the sum of £2, and
    the secretary of the Wellington Acclimatization Society, or
    any person authorized by such secretary in that behalf, is
    hereby authorized to sign and issue such licenses.

  3. The form of license shall be as prescribed in the
    Schedule hereto, and shall be subject to the provisions of the
    said Act and regulations made thereunder.

  4. Regulations as to the use of marks of identification of
    deer-heads contained in section 6 of the regulations under
    the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, published in
    the New Zealand Gazette of the 7th February, 1924, page 437,
    shall be strictly adhered to by each licensee, who, in addition
    thereto, shall return all unused “tags” to the Secretary of
    the Wellington Acclimatization Society immediately he has
    finished stalking for the season for which such “tags” have
    been issued, together with a statement of the number of deer
    shot.

  5. No licensee shall be allowed to take or kill more than
    two stags or bucks of not less than six points and one hind ;
    and not more than one license to take or kill such deer shall
    be issued to any one person.

  6. No licensee shall allow any dog to accompany either
    himself or any attendant he may have with him.

  7. Nothing herein contained shall extend to authorizing
    any person to sell any such deer or portion thereof.

pounds (£2), is hereby authorized to take or kill Sambur or
Ceylon deer (two stags or bucks and one hind) within the
counties of Manawatu, Oroua, Kairanga, Rangitikei, and
Horowhenua from the 1st day of June, 1926, to the 31st
day of July, 1926 (both days inclusive), subject to the provisions of the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22,
and the regulations made thereunder.

This license shall not authorize the holder thereof to take
or kill deer on lands actually and exclusively used by any
registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain.

Redefining Boundaries of the Borough of Te Kuiti, the County
of Waitomo, and the Te Kuiti Riding of the County of
Waitomo.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of the
Borough of Te Kuiti are hereby defined as set out in the
First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said borough
having been altered by Order in Council dated the 8th day
of March, 1926, made under the Municipal Corporations Act,
1920, and published in Gazette No. 13, of the 11th day of
March, 1926.

And also in pursuance of the provisions of the said section
141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries
of the County of Waitomo affected by the said Order in
Council dated the 8th day of March, 1926, are hereby defined
as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.

And in further pursuance of the provisions of the said
section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the
boundaries of the Te Kuiti Riding of the County of Waitomo
affected by the said Order in Council dated the 8th day of
March, 1926, are hereby defined as set out in the Third
Schedule hereto.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF BOROUGH OF TE KUITI.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards
the north generally by Te Kumi No. 3 Block and the crossing
of a road from the southernmost corner of the said Te Kumi
No. 3 Block to the Mangaokewa Stream ; thence across and
along that stream to a point in line with the north-western
boundary-line of Section 2A, Block XV, Orahiri Survey District ; thence by a right line to the north-western corner of
that section, by its north-western boundary-line and the
north-western boundary-line of Section 1, Block XV aforesaid, and by Allotment 5 of Section 11, Block XVI, Orahiri
Survey District, to the road at its south-eastern corner ;
thence towards the north-east by a right line to the northernmost corner of Te Kuiti No. 7 ; thence by Te Kuiti No. 10
Block to the north-western boundary of Te Kuiti No. 11
Block ; thence towards the south-east by the last-mentioned
block to the Mangaokewa Stream ; thence towards the east
generally by a line across that stream and by the left bank
to Pukenui 2D 4 Block ; thence by the last-mentioned block
to a branch railway-line to ballast-pit ; thence by the said
