Special Orders made by the Hauraki Plains County Council altering Riding Boundaries.

THE following special orders, made by the Hauraki Plains County Council, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act, 1920.

Pursuant to section 100 of that Act, as amended by section 3 of the Counties Amendment Act, 1921–22, I hereby fix the 15th day of April, 1926, as the date from which the special orders shall take effect.

HAURAKI PLAINS COUNTY COUNCIL.

Copies of Special Orders passed at a Special Meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council on the 25th Day of February, 1926.

  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of the Counties Act, 1920, the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby resolves by way of special order as follows :—

  2. On and after the date to be fixed by the Minister of Internal Affairs and notified in the New Zealand Gazette, the Turua Riding shall be altered by including therein, and the Kopuarahi Riding shall be altered by excluding therefrom, the land described in the First Schedule hereto.

  3. The boundaries of the Kopuarahi Riding as altered shall be as described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  4. The boundaries of the Turua Riding as altered shall be as described in the Third Schedule hereto.

THE FIRST SCHEDULE HEREINBEFORE REFERRED TO.

All that area in the Hauraki Plains County, in the Auckland Land District, situated in part Blocks XI and XII, Thames Survey District, commencing at a point in the middle of the Waihou River where the northern boundary of the Whareroa Block produced meets the Hauraki Plains County boundary ; thence in a southerly direction by the said county boundary along the middle of the Waihou River, to its junction with the southern boundary of Kaipapaka Block produced ; thence in a south-westerly direction along the southern boundary of the said Kaipapaka Block, to its south-western corner ; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundary of the said Kaipapaka Block, the eastern boundary of Section 13, and the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 13 and 9 of Block XI, Thames Survey District, to the junction of the last-named boundary with the north-western boundary of Lot 3 as shown on the plan No. 9708, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being subdivision of south-eastern portion of Ngataipua No. 1B, No. 1 and E, No. 2A ; thence along north-western and north-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 3 to the northern boundary of Whareroa Block ; thence north-easterly along the said northern boundary of Whareroa Block produced to the middle of the Waihou River, the point of commencement.

THE SECOND SCHEDULE HEREINBEFORE REFERRED TO.

All that area in the Hauraki Plains County, in the Auckland Land District, commencing at a point where the middle-line of the Piako River meets the northern boundary of the Hauraki Plains County ; thence in a north-easterly and south-easterly direction along the Hauraki Plains County boundary aforesaid, to its junction with the northern boundary of Whareroa Block produced ; thence in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of Whareroa Block aforesaid, to its junction with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 3 as shown on plan No. 9708, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland ; thence along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of the said Lot 3 to the north-eastern boundary of Section 9, Block XI, Thames Survey District ; thence in a south-easterly direction along the eastern boundaries generally of Sections 9, 13, and 26, of Block XI, Thames Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 14 ; thence westerly generally along the northern boundaries of Sections 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20 of the said Block XI, Thames Survey District, to and across the Kopuarahi–Kerepeehi Road ; thence along the northern and western boundaries of Section 1, Block II, Waihou Survey District ; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of Kopuarahi 2D 1, 3A, 2D, 2C Blocks produced to the middle of the Piako River ; thence northerly along the middle line of the Piako River to the county boundary, the point of commencement.

THIRD SCHEDULE HEREINBEFORE REFERRED TO.

All that area in the Hauraki Plains County, in the Auckland Land District, commencing at a point in the middle of the Waihou River, being the junction of the northern boundary of Whareroa Block produced, with the eastern boundary of the Hauraki Plains County ; thence in a southerly direction along the said county boundary to a point in line with the southern boundary produced, of Lot 105, as shown on plan No. 8125, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland ; thence along the southern boundaries of Lots 105, 104, 103, 102, 101, and 99, as shown on plan No. 8123 aforesaid ; northerly by Lots 97, 95, 93, 91, 89 on plan aforesaid and Kuranui No. 2 Block, and by Lots 59, 57, 55, 53, 51, 49, 47, 45, 43, 41, 39, 37, 35, 33, 31, 29, 27, 25, as shown on plan No. 7492, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland ; thence along the eastern boundaries of Lots 3 and 2, Section 7, Block II, Waihou Survey District, Sections 14, 26, 13, Section 9, Block XI, Thames Survey District, to the junction of the last-named boundary with the north-western boundary of Lot 3, as shown on plan No. 9708, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being subdivision of the south-eastern portion of Ngataipua No. 1B 1 and E No. 2A ; thence along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 3, to the northern boundary of Whareroa Block ; thence north-easterly along the said northern boundary of Whareroa Block produced to the middle of the Waihou River, the point of commencement.

Certificate.—As required by section 100 of the Counties Act, 1920, I hereby certify that the attached Schedules are a correct description of the proposed alterations of boundaries of ridings in the Hauraki Plains County, and are sufficient to render the new boundaries capable of identification as indicated by coloured borders in the lithos submitted by the Hauraki Plains County.—D. All that area in the Hauraki Plains County, in the Auckland Land District, commencing at a point where the southern boundary of Block XI, Piako Survey District, intersects the western boundary of the aforesaid county ; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Section 5 (Forest Reserve), Block XI, Piako Survey District ; Sections 3 and 4, Block XII, Piako Survey District ; thence southerly along the western boundaries of Sections 8 and 9 of the said Block XII ; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Sections 9, 10, and 11 of the said Block XII, to the middle of the Waitakaruru–Morrinsville Road ; thence south-easterly along the middle of the said road to a point in line with the boundary between Section 1, Block XVI, Piako Survey District, and Ngarua Part 1B 1 Block ; thence to and along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid Section 1, the south-eastern boundary of Section 2, Block XVI, and its production to the Mangakawa Trig. Station, on the western boundary of the Hauraki Plains County ; thence northerly along the county boundary to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE HEREINBEFORE REFERRED TO.

All that area in the Hauraki Plains County, in the Auckland Land District, commencing at the Mangakawa Trig. Station, on the western boundary of the Hauraki Plains County ; thence north-easterly by a right line to the southern-most corner of Section 2, Block XVI, Piako Survey District, and along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 2, and the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 1, Block XVI, Piako Survey District, to the middle of
