Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces amended.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto the Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces, published in the Gazette dated 6th August, 1925, and I do hereby declare that the amendment hereby made shall take effect as from the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
FINANCIAL INSTRUCTIONS AND ALLOWANCE REGULATIONS FOR THE N.Z. MILITARY FORCES.
PARAGRAPH 111 (b), as published in the Gazette dated 25th February, 1926, is amended by inserting after the fifth line the words “If during the currency of the contract the soldier concerned receives promotion in New Zealand involving an increase of pay without receiving corresponding promotion in his unit in the British Army, the rate of special allowance shall be adjusted by a reduction therefrom of an amount equal to the increase in pay.”

Dysentery (amoebic and bacillary)
to be a notifiable infectious disease within the meaning of the said Act.
