REGULATIONS FOR THE NEW ZEALAND ROYAL NAVAL RESERVE (MEN).
Article 43: Add “Class D. The lowest rate of substantive pay applicable to the equivalent ratings in the seagoing forces will be payable when actually embarked for training in H.M. Ships.”
Article 50: In fifth line after the word “on” insert the words “second and”; and after the word “each” insert the word “subsequent.”
Article 49.—
After the word “kit-bag” insert new paragraph as follows:—
“In addition to the above, ratings in Class D will be issued gratuitously with duck suit, oilskin, and gaiters.”
At the beginning of third paragraph add “In Classes A, B, and C.”
REGULATIONS FOR THE GOVERNMENT AND PAYMENT OF THE NEW ZEALAND DIVISION OF THE ROYAL NAVY.
Appendix 1, Rates of Pay, &c.: In the second line of the opening paragraph, between the words “payable” and “in,” insert the words “on the 19th July, 1919.”

Regulations under the War Pensions Act, 1915.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of March, 1926.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
In pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by section twenty-six of the War Pensions Act, 1915, and sections ten, fourteen, and eighteen of the War Pensions Amendment Act, 1923, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations, and doth order that the same shall come into force on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.
REGULATIONS.
- (a.) CLAUSE 12 of the regulations under the War Pensions Act, 1915, dated the 23rd day of August, 1915, and published in the Gazette of the 26th day of the same month, as heretofore amended, is hereby revoked.
(b.) Clause 10 of the regulations under the War Pensions Act, 1915, and the War Pensions Amendment Act, 1917, dated the 8th day of April, 1918, and published in the Gazette of the 9th day of May, 1918, is hereby revoked.
(c.) Clause 17 of the regulations under the War Pensions Amendment Act, 1923, dated the 16th day of June, 1924, and published in the Gazette of the 26th day of the same month, is hereby revoked.
(d.) In lieu of the regulations revoked by this clause the following regulation is substituted:—
“PAYMENT OF PENSIONS.
“12. Every pension granted shall be payable by equal monthly instalments, of which the first shall be payable on the first day of the month next after the commencement of the pension-year:
“Provided that any instalment falling due while the pensioner is in New Zealand may be paid not earlier than the 23rd day of the month preceding the due date of payment; provided further that any instalment falling due during the absence of the pensioner from New Zealand may be paid on any other date authorized by the War Pensions Board; provided further that in any case in which the War Pensions Board or the War Pensions Appeal Board awards a temporary pension of a certain sum per week as final, it may, if it thinks fit, direct that a lump sum be paid to the claimant in full satisfaction of all payments to accrue in respect of such final pension.
