Edward Burnett
of Coromandel, Police Constable, to be an Inspector of
Sea-fishing for the purposes of Part I of the first-mentioned
Act.

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee.
NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the power
and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public
Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921-22, I, the Public Trustee
of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed
Ernest Huia Thomas
of the Public Trust Office, Wanganui, to be Deputy of the
District Public Trustee, Wanganui, during the absence of such
District Public Trustee from his headquarters.

STRAUN WRIGHT-SMITH, Esquire, of Scott Street,
Warracknabeal, Australia, a Solicitor of the Supreme
Court of the State of Victoria, has this day been appointed
by the Right Honourable Sir Robert Stout, P.C., K.C.M.G.,
Chief Justice of New Zealand, a Commissioner of the Supreme
Court of New Zealand in the State of Victoria, under the
47th section of the Judicature Act, 1908, for the purpose of
administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and
affirmations as in the said section mentioned.

of section 4 of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, been pleased

to be a trustee, in the place of Alexander Gray, resigned, to
provide for the maintenance and care of the Waikoikoi Public
Cemetery.
William McDonald Paterson
to be a trustee, in place of Thomas Paterson, deceased, to pro-
vide for the maintenance and care of the Ngaruwahia Public
Cemetery.
James Gibson Gow,
William Henry Hall, and
Robert William Simpson
to be trustees in place of John Mee, William Priest, and
Thomas Lewis Harney, deceased, to provide for the main-
tenance and care of the Timaru Public Cemetery.
William Butcher,
William Edward Cayley-Alexander, and
Arthur Herbert Coates
to be trustees in place of Michael Joseph Byrt, Robert
Livingstone, and John Daniel Milner, left the district, to pro-
vide for the maintenance and care of the Piopio Public
Cemetery.

of Launceston, Tasmania, Australia, a Solicitor of the
Supreme Court of the State of Tasmania, has this day been
