TUAKAU TOWN BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

FOR the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £700 (seven hundred pounds) authorized to be raised by the Tuakau Town Board by special order, for the purpose of providing a worker’s dwelling, the Tuakau Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/12th (one-twelfth) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (based upon the capital value) of all rateable property in the Tuakau Town District; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTIONS MAKING SPECIAL RATES.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Council of the Whangarei County hereby resolves as follows:—

Waiotu-Jordan Special Loan Area.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000 authorized to be raised by the Whangarei County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of forming, culverting, and metalling what is known as the Waiotu–Jordan Road in the Hikurangi Riding, the Whangarei County Council makes and levies a special rate of 1⅛d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Waiotu-Jordan Special-rating Area, comprising all the area and rateable property within the boundaries of the following lines:—
Commencing at the junction of the Waiariki and Waiotu Streams at the north-eastern boundary of Section 6 in Block XI, Hukerenui Survey District, thence southerly by the western bank of said stream to the south-eastern boundary corner of Section 20; thence westerly along the southern boundary of the said Section 20 to the north-eastern boundary corner of Section 22; thence south by the eastern and then the southern boundary of the said Section 22 to the north-eastern boundary corner of Section 13; thence south by the eastern boundary of the said Section 13 to its southern boundary corner; thence generally in a westerly direction by the southern boundary of the said Section 13 and Sections 12, 19, and 6A in Block X, Hukerenui Survey District, to the south-western boundary corner of the last-mentioned section (6A); thence north-east by the north-western boundary of the said Section 6A to its northern boundary corner; thence south-east by the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 6A to the north-western boundary corner of Section 18; thence easterly by the northern boundary of the said Section 18 to its intersection with the western boundary line of Section 46; thence in a northerly direction by the western boundary of Sections 46, 26, and 45 to the north-western boundary corner of the last-mentioned section (45); thence due east by the northern boundary corner of the said Section 45 to its north-eastern boundary corner; thence due south by the eastern boundary of the said section to the north-western boundary corner of Section 30; thence generally in an easterly direction by the northern boundary of the said Section 30 and Sections 36 and 18 to the north-eastern boundary corner of the last-mentioned section (18); thence in a northerly direction by the western boundary of Sections 2, 1, and 14 to the north-western boundary corner of the said Section 14; thence south-easterly by the northern boundary of the said Section 14 and Section 13 to its north-eastern boundary corner; thence southerly by the eastern boundary of the said Section 13 to the north-western boundary corner of Section 12; thence easterly by the northern boundary-line of the said Section 12 to its intersection with the Waiotu Stream; thence generally southerly by the western bank of the said Stream to its junction with the Waiariki Stream at the north-eastern boundary of Section 6, being the point of commencement.
That such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Waipu North - Ruakaka Special Loan Area.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £900, authorized to be raised by the Whangarei County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling what is known as the Waipu North–Ruakaka Road in the Waipu Riding, the Whangarei County Council makes and levies a special rate of 1⅛d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the said Waipu North-Ruakaka Special-rating Area, comprising all the area and rateable property within the boundaries of the following lines:—
Commencing at the north-eastern boundary corner of Section E. 60 in Block XI, Ruakaka Survey District, thence generally in a westerly direction by the northern boundary of the said Section E. 60 and Sections W. 60, N.E. 58, 57, and 38 to the north-western boundary corner of the said Section 38; thence across road-line to the boundary of Section 82; thence northward by the eastern boundary of the said Section 82 and Section S.E. 33 to its northern boundary corner; thence south-west by the north-western boundary-line of Section S.E. 33 to its western boundary corner; thence and generally along the south-western boundary of Section S.E. 33 to its intersection with the north-western boundary of Section 82; thence south-west by the north-western boundary of Section 82 to its junction with the Mangapai Parish boundary; thence southerly by the said parish boundary to the south-western corner of Section E.R. 35; thence south-west and then north-west by the said Mangapai Parish boundary to the northern boundary corner of Section 220 in Block XII, Ruakaka Survey District; thence in a south-westerly direction by the north-western boundary of Sections 220 and 194 to intersection with road-line; thence north-west by road-line to the north-western boundary corner of the said Section 194 where road intersects the Ruarangi Parish boundary; thence due south by the said Ruarangi Parish boundary to the south-western boundary corner of Section 355; thence due east by the southern boundary of Section 355 to its south-eastern boundary corner to intersection with creek; thence due north by the banks of such creek to the north-western boundary corner of Section 379; thence easterly by the northern boundary of Section 379 to intersection with western boundary of Section 372; thence southerly by the western boundary of Section 372 to its south-western boundary corner; thence easterly by the southern boundary of Section 372 to intersection with western boundary of Section 217; thence to the south-western boundary corner of the said Section 217; thence easterly by the southern boundary of the said Section 217 and Allotments 225 and 399 to the south-eastern boundary corner of Section 399; thence northerly by the eastern boundary of Section 399 to its north-eastern boundary corner; thence in a north-easterly direction by the southern boundary of Section 397 to intersection with south-western boundary of Allotment 247; thence in a south-easterly direction by the south-western boundaries of Sections 247 and 155 to the northern boundary corner of Section 88; thence south-westerly by the north-western boundary of Section 88 to junction with road-line; thence due south to the southern boundary corner of the said Section 88 where the said section is bounded by the Pohuenui River; thence north-easterly by the course of such river to where it strikes the western boundary of Section 203 (containing 40 acres); thence south-easterly by the south-western boundary of the said Section 203 to its meeting with road which forms its southern boundary; thence generally north-easterly by the south and south-eastern boundary of the said Section 203 and Sections 159, 158, 157, 324, and 156 (road-line forming their south-eastern boundary) to the south-eastern boundary corner of the last-mentioned section; thence due north to the south-western boundary corner of Section 36; thence
