Apportioning Amounts payable to Various Acclimatization Societies for Opossums taken in their District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 30th day of March, 1926.

Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby provide and declare that the sum of four thousand one hundred and fifty-nine pounds thirteen shillings, being the amount received in the undermentioned acclimatization districts by way of fines, together with half the net revenue derived from fees and royalty with respect to the taking of opossums, shall be paid to the acclimatization societies of such districts in the amounts set opposite the name of each respectively:—

Boundaries of Borough of Greytown altered.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 30th day of March, 1926.

Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS in pursuance of section one hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, a petition was presented to the Governor-General praying that a certain area should be excluded from the Borough of Greytown and included in the County of Featherston:

And whereas a Commission appointed under the said section held inquiries and recommended certain alterations of the said area:

And whereas it is deemed expedient to make the alteration of boundaries of the said borough recommended by the said Commission and to declare to what riding of the said county such area shall be added:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that as on and from the first day of April one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the Borough of Greytown and included in the County of Featherston; and, with the like advice and consent, doth hereby further declare that as on and from the aforesaid date the area included as aforesaid in the County of Featherston shall be added to and form part of the Greytown Riding of that county.

SCHEDULE.

AREA EXCLUDED FROM BOROUGH OF GREYTOWN.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in Blocks XIII and XIV, Tiffin Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern boundary-line of Lot 2 on plan 3240, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington, being the intersection of the said boundary-line with the existing boundary of the Borough of Greytown as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 115, of the 21st November, 1878, page 1613, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly, south-westerly, and westerly direction generally by the said borough boundary to a point in the
