the last balance-sheet); and I make this solemn declaration
conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue
of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.

WINDSOR MANUFACTURING COMPANY (LIMITED).

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the
matter of WINDSOR MANUFACTURING COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of the above-named company duly convened
and held at Wellington on the 5th day of February, 1926, the
following resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent
extraordinary general meeting of the said company, also duly
convened, held at the same place on the 19th day of February,
1926, the same resolution was duly confirmed as a special
resolution pursuant to section 91, subsection (1), of the
Companies Act, 1908, namely:—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily.”


And a further resolution was also passed and confirmed,
namely:—

“That Messrs. GEORGE THOMAS MASON, of Wellington,
Company Director, and ARTHUR CUNNINGHAME, of Wellington, Company Secretary, be appointed Liquidators for the
purposes of such winding-up.”

KOWAI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION TO STRIKE SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Kowai County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on the loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the
Kowai County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for
the purpose of erecting bridges over the North Kowai River
on the site of Tobin’s Ford in Tobin’s Road and Gray’s Ford
in Gray’s Road, the said Kowai County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of 1/40th of a penny in the £1 on the
rateable value (being the capital value) of all rateable property
in the North Riding of the Kowai County; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and shall be payable on the 1st day
of July in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until such loan
is fully paid off.

MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Manawatu County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges of a loan of £60,000, authorized to be raised by the
Manawatu County Council under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose (a) of providing the Council’s contribution
towards the construction or reconstruction of the main highways throughout the County of Manawatu and within the
No. 9 Highways District as mentioned in the New Zealand
Gazette dated 12th June, 1925, (b) of providing the necessary
plant and machinery for carrying out the said work as aforesaid, the Manawatu County Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of thirteen thirty-seconds of a penny in the
pound upon the rateable value (being the unimproved value)
of all rateable property in the County of Manawatu; and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the
first day of August in each and every year.

SPECIAL RESOLUTION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of £2,400, authorized to be raised by the
Waitomo County Council under the above-named Act, for
the purpose of reforming, widening, culverting, and metalling
portion of the Mangaokewa Road, the said Waitomo County
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five farthings
(1¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (being the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Mangaokewa
Special-rating District, comprising Section 7, part Section 8
(179 acres 3 roods 15 perches), Section 9, Block X; Sections
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, Block XI; Sections 2, 3, 3A, 4, and
5, Block XIV; Sections 1 and 2, Block XV; Section 1,
Block XVI; part Rangitoto Tuhua 25 No. 5B (1,200 acres),
Blocks VII and XI; Rangitoto Tuhua 35r Sections 2A, 2B,
2C, Blocks X and XI; Rangitoto Tuhua 36B No. 1, Block
XI; Rangitoto Tuhua 36B Nos. 2 and 3A, Blocks XI, XII,
XIII; Rangitoto Tuhua 36B, Sections 3B 1, 3B 2, 3C 1,
3C 2, and 3D, Block XII; Rangitoto Tuhua 36B 3E, Blocks
XII and XVI—all in the Pakaumanu Survey District;
Rangitoto Tuhua A 36B part (1,500 acres), Blocks XII,
Pakaumanu, and IX, Ranginui Survey Districts. And that
