Notice as to Change of Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Linkwater Survey District, Marlborough Land District.
CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.
WHEREAS, by notice issued pursuant to section six of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, dated the nineteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, the purpose for which the portion of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto was set apart was changed from a reserve for the purpose of supplying timber for the public service to a reserve for quarry purposes:
And whereas the said notice was laid before Parliament pursuant to the provisions of section seven of the said Act, and no resolution has been passed by either House of Parliament that such House does not assent to such change of purpose:
And whereas it is provided by the said section seven that if no such resolution is passed by either House, then, from and after the termination of the then session of Parliament, such change of purpose, in accordance with the terms of the notice, shall be valid and effectual for all purposes whatsoever:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify that no such resolution as aforesaid has been passed by either House of Parliament, and that the change of purpose as set forth in the notice aforesaid has taken effect accordingly as from the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five (being the date of the termination of the session during which the notice aforesaid was laid before Parliament).
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section 2 of 55, Picton Suburban, Block XII, Linkwater Survey District. Bounded as follows: Towards the north-west and north-east by remaining portion of Section 55, 319·2 links and 520 links respectively; towards the south-east by the Picton–Blenheim Road, 100 links and 359·96 links; and towards the south-west by part of 55, railway land, for 563·2 links: be all the aforesaid measurements more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/5/124, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Notice as to Change of Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in the Township of Waverley, Wellington Land District.

WHEREAS by notice issued pursuant to section six of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, dated the twenty-third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, the purpose for which the portion of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto was set apart was changed from a site for a telegraph-station and post-office to a site for a war memorial:
And whereas the said notice was laid before Parliament pursuant to the provisions of section seven of the said Act, and no resolution has been passed by either House of Parliament that such House does not assent to such change of purpose:
And whereas it is provided by the said section seven that if no such resolution is passed by either House, then, from and after the termination of the then session of Parliament, such change of purpose, in accordance with the terms of the notice, shall be valid and effectual for all purposes whatsoever:

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 8·4 perches, more or less, being part of Section 144, Township of Waverley, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the Weraroa Road, 117 links distant from the junction of the said road with Chester Street, thence by right lines towards the east, north, and west by other part of Section 144, for distances of 125 links, 42 links, and 125 links respectively; and towards the south by the aforesaid Weraroa Road, for a distance of 42 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked 247/44, deposited in the Wellington District Office, Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon edged blue.

Notice as to Change of Purpose of a Reserve in the Town of Hamilton West, Auckland Land District.

WHEREAS by notice issued pursuant to section six of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, dated the fourteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and published in the Gazette of the thirteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, the purpose for which the reserve described in the Schedule hereto was set apart was changed from a reserve for Post and Telegraph purposes to a reserve for public buildings of the General Government:
And whereas the said notice was laid before Parliament pursuant to the provisions of section seven of the said Act, and no resolution has been passed by either House of Parliament that such House does not assent to such change of purpose:
And whereas it is provided by the said section seven that if no such resolution is passed by either House, then, from and after the termination of the then session of Parliament, such change of purpose, in accordance with the terms of the notice, shall be valid and effectual for all purposes whatsoever:

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods 3 perches, more or less, being Section 407 (Post and Telegraph reserve), situate in Town of Hamilton West. Bounded towards the north-west by Knox Street, 376·4 links; towards the north-east by Section 481, Town of Hamilton West, 365·4 and 179·2 links; again towards the north-east by part of Section 407 of the aforesaid town and Lot 1 as shown on plan No. 16697, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, 656 links; towards the south-east generally by Richmond Street and part of Section 407B (reserve for police purposes) of the aforesaid town, 305·6, 100, and 250 links; towards the south-west by Anglesea Street, 921·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/3/273, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink. Auckland plan No. 378 (blue).
