one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, be paid to that
fund at such time or times and by such instalments as the
Minister of Railways may determine.
3. In addition to the contribution payable by the said
Matthew Joseph Mack as specified in the last preceding
paragraph hereof, there shall be paid to the fund by the
Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants at such times and
in such manner (whether by instalments or otherwise) as
may be determined by the Minister of Railways a sum
which in each year shall bear the same proportion to the
total amount payable by the said Matthew Joseph Mack
by way of contribution to the fund in respect of such year
as the total sum paid by the Government to the fund by
way of subsidy bears to the aggregate of the sums paid into
the fund by contributors under the Government Railways
Act, 1908, in such year.
And with the like advice and consent, and in further
pursuance of the said powers and authorities, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the said Dominion doth hereby
declare that in accordance with and subject to the pro-
visions of subsection six of section thirty-three of the Finance
Act, 1925, this Order in Council shall be subject to revocation,
alteration, or amendment at any time; and, without prejudice
to the generality of the provisions of this paragraph, His
Excellency the Governor-General, with the advice and
consent aforesaid, doth hereby declare in particular that this
Order in Council shall be deemed to be revoked in either
of the events following, namely:-

  1. If the members of the Amalgamated Society of Railway
    Servants shall cease work on strike.
  2. If the said Matthew Joseph Mack shall be guilty of
    misconduct which if he had been a member of the Department
    would, in the opinion of the Minister of Railways, have
    justified his dismissal from the service.

    WHEREAS it is provided by section twenty-two of the
    Administration Act, 1908, that the security of any
    incorporated company or guarantee society approved by the
    Governor-General in Council may be accepted by the Court
    as the security required to be given by an administrator or
    other person appointed to administer an estate under the
    above-mentioned Act:
    Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
    the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise
    of the above-recited power and authority, and acting by
    and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
    of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve, for the purpose
    above mentioned, of the following incorporated society,
    namely:-
    The General Accident Fire and Life Assurance Corporation
    (Limited).

    ORDER IN COUNCIL.
    At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of
    December, 1925.
    Present:
    THE HONOURABLE J. G. COATES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
    WHEREAS in accordance with the provisions of the
    third section of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, a
    majority of the ratepayers in the area of land described in
    the Schedule hereto, situated within the County of Cheviot,
    have presented a petition to His Excellency the Governor-
    General of the Dominion of New Zealand, praying that the
    said area be constituted a drainage district under the provi-
    sions of the said Act:
    Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
    Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
    power and authority contained in the third section of the
    Land Drainage Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice
    and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
    doth hereby constitute and declare the area of land described
    in the Schedule hereto to be a district for the purposes of
    Part I of the said Act, and to be called by the name of the
    "Jed River Drainage District"; and also, in pursuance and
    exercise of the power and authority contained in the fourth
    section of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the Board
    of Trustees of the said district shall consist of five persons
    to be elected as members of the said Board, and under and
    in accordance with the said Act.
    SCHEDULE.
    DESCRIPTION OF BOUNDARIES OF JED RIVER DRAINAGE
    District.
    ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District bounded by
    a line commencing at the north-western corner of Section 71,
    Block VII, Cheviot Survey District, thence along the southern
    side of Elizabeth Road to Montgomery Street, Mackenzie
    Township; thence southerly along the western side of Mont-
    gomery Street to the southern side of Reeves Street; thence
    easterly along the southern side of Reeves Street to the
    north-western side of Homestead Road; thence generally
    south-westerly along the north-western sides of Homestead
    Road and Domett Road to the south-western corner of Sec-
    tion 23, Block XII, Lowry Peaks Survey District; thence
    north-westerly and north-easterly along the western bound-
    aries of Section 23 aforesaid to a drain reserve; thence
    easterly generally along the northern boundaries of the afore-
    said drain reserve to the western boundary of Section 27,
    Block XII aforesaid; thence by the western and northern
    boundaries of Section 27 aforesaid to the road forming the
    western boundary of Section 71, Block VII, Cheviot Survey
    District, across that road, and northerly along its eastern side
    to the north-western corner of Section 71 aforesaid, the place
    of commencement.

    Revoking the Vesting of Lot 27 of Block I, Town of Paeroa,
    Auckland Land District.

    At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of

    Present:
    THE HONOURABLE J. G. COATES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
    WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
    was vested in the Ohinemuri Public Library (Incor-
    porated), in trust, as a site for a public library by an Order
    in Council dated the twentieth day of January, one thousand
    nine hundred and thirteen, and published in Gazette of the
    twenty-third day of that month, in pursuance of section four
    of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, but a certifi-
    cate of title has not issued in respect of the said reserve:
    And whereas it is expedient that the said Order in Council
    should be revoked, and the trustees of the Ohinemuri Public
    Library (Incorporated) have duly consented to such revoca-
    tion:
    Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
    Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
    consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and
    in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities con-
    ferred upon him by subsection two of section three of the
    Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1914, doth
    hereby revoke the Order in Council hereinbefore referred to.
    SCHEDULE.
    ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
    admeasurement 18 perches, more or less, being Lot 27 of
    Block I, Town of Paeroa. Bounded towards the north-east
    by Normanby Road, 75 links; towards the south-east by
    Lot 26, Block I, Town of Paeroa, 150 links; towards the
    south-west by Lot 18 of Block I aforesaid, 75 links; and
    towards the north-west by Lot 28 of Block I aforesaid, 150
    links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the
    same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5453/1, deposited
    in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
    Wellington, and thereon edged red.
