The total births registered for the urban areas amounted to 1,086, as against 1,055 in October—an increase of 31.
The deaths in November were 474, a decrease of 38 as compared with the previous month. Of the total deaths males contributed 243, females 231. Forty-seven of the deaths were of children under five years of age, being 9·92 per cent. of the whole number. Thirty-one of these were under one year of age.
The equivalent annual rates per 1,000 of mean population for November, 1925, and ten months ended November, 1925, were as follows. The infantile-mortality rate per 100 births for the same period is also given.
