Adding certain Chattels to the Seventh Schedule to the Chattels Transfer Act, 1924.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 30th day of November, 1925.

THE HONOURABLE J. G. COATES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection six of section fifty-seven of the Chattels Transfer Act, 1924 (hereinafter called "the said Act"), it is provided that the Governor-General, if satisfied that a practice has been established of dealing with any specific chattels or class of chattels by the method of hire-purchase, or that it is desirable in the public interest that such practice should become established in respect of any specific chattels or class of chattels, may from time to time, by Order in Council, add to the class of chattels defined in the Seventh Schedule to the said Act any other chattels or class of chattels, and that thereafter such chattels or class of chattels may be the subject of customary hire-purchase agreements:
And whereas His Excellency the Governor-General is satisfied that a practice has been established of dealing with the chattels defined in the Schedule hereto by the method of hire-purchase:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby add to the class of chattels defined in the Seventh Schedule to the said Act the chattels defined in the Schedule hereto, and doth hereby declare that this Order in Council shall take effect as from the date of the publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Altering Boundaries of Raupare Drainage District, County of Hawke's Bay.

WHEREAS the Raupare Drainage Board, being of the opinion that certain lands situated in the County of Hawke's Bay and not included in the Raupare Drainage District (hereinafter referred to as "the said district") are deriving benefit from the drainage-works carried out by the said Board, did, in accordance with the provisions of section six of the Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1913 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), present a petition to His Excellency the Governor-General praying that the boundaries of the said district might be altered so as to include such lands in the said district:
And whereas in respect thereof a Commission has been appointed to inquire and report as to the several matters mentioned in subsection three of section six of the said Act:
And whereas the Commission so appointed has reported that such lands should be included in the said district:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by section six of the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the boundaries of the said district are hereby altered so as to include in the said district the lands described in the First Schedule hereto, and that the boundaries of the said district shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA INCLUDED IN THE RAUPARE DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Lot 6 on plan 2226 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier; thence south-westerly along the Ngaruroro River, being the northern boundaries of Lots 5, 4, 4, and 3, to the north-eastern corner?of Lot 2, plan 2747 deposited as aforesaid; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Lot 2 aforesaid to Hill Road, across Hill Road, and along the north-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, plan 3210, Lots 1 and 2, plan 2983 deposited as aforesaid, to the north-western corner of Lot 1, plan 2569; thence by the south-western boundary of Lot 1 aforesaid to Twyford Road, across Twyford Road, and along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, plan 2767 deposited as aforesaid, and the south-eastern boundary of Lot 2, plan 2767 aforesaid, to the Fernhill-Hastings Road; thence south-easterly along that road to its intersection with the north-western boundary of Part Lot 3, plan 3786 deposited as aforesaid; thence by a right line to a point on the north-western boundary of Lot 1, plan 3417 deposited as aforesaid, in line with the production of the north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 3; thence north-easterly and south-easterly along the north-western and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 1 and the south-eastern boundary of Lot 2 on plans 3417 and 3416 deposited as aforesaid; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Lot 9, plan 2465 deposited as aforesaid, to Lyndhurst Road, across that road, and south-easterly along its eastern side to the north-western boundary of Lot 2, plan 2620 deposited as aforesaid; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of the said Lot 2 to the south-western boundary of Section 18, Mahora Settlement; thence north-westerly along the said south-western boundary to the north-western corner of the said Section 18; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Sections 18, 17, 16, and 14, Mahora Settlement, to Evenden Road, across Evenden Road, and south-easterly along that road to the south-eastern boundary of Section 8, Mahora Settlement; thence north-easterly along that boundary and the south-eastern boundary of part Lot 1 on plan 2346 deposited as aforesaid and its production to the Ngaruroro River; thence westerly along that river to the boundary of the Raupare Drainage District; thence westerly and northerly along that boundary as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 25th November, 1920, page 3160, to the north-western corner of Lot 6 on plan 2226, the place of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
