including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves,
roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses : all
in the Hawkeβs Bay Land District. As the same is delineated
on the plan marked P.W.D. 64486, deposited in the office of
the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District.

Declaring a certain Area added to the County of Matakaoa to be included in Awatere Riding thereof.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the nineteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, the boundaries of the counties of Waiapu and Matakaoa were altered by the exclusion of a certain area from the County of Waiapu and the inclusion of such area in the County of Matakaoa :
And whereas it is desirable that the area so added to the County of Matakaoa should be included in the Awatere Riding of that county:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-one of the Counties Act, 1920, do hereby declare that the area included as aforesaid in the County of Matakaoa shall, as on and from the second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, be included in the Awatere Riding of the said county, and that the boundaries of that riding shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
AWATERE RIDING, MATAKAOA COUNTY.
All that area in the Matakaoa County in the Land District of Gisborne, bounded by a line commencing at the southern-most corner of Wharekahika No. 10A 1 Block, and proceeding thence along the eastern boundary of the aforesaid Whare-kahika No. 10A 1 and 10A 2 Blocks, along the southern boundaries of Wharekahika Nos. 10B, 18G, 18K, 8D, 8A, 8C, 8B 7; 6C 1D 3, 6C 2C, 6B 2, and 6B 1 Blocks to the sea ; thence south-easterly along the sea-coast to the right bank of the Awatere River ; thence on the east by the Horoera Riding of the County of Matakaoa from the mouth of the Awatere River to the county boundary ; thence on the south by the county boundary to the south-western corner of Ahomatariki No. 3B Block; thence northerly along the western boundaries of Ahomatariki 3B, forest reserve, Tapatu 2D, and Sections 2 and 1, Block X, Matakaoa Survey District, to the southern-most corner of Wharekahika No. 10A 1, the place of commencement.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the North Auckland Main Trunk Railway, Mareretu Section.

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D 64715, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land : 7 acres 2 roods 1 perch.
Being portion of lo 6M 2 Marangairoa Block, situated in Block XVI, East Cape Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 1018, brown.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56345, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged pink.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a quarry, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitomo, as from the date hereinafter mentioned ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 28'8 perches.
Being portion of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 26F No. 2c No. 1, situated in Block II, Pakaumanu Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 23780.)
