ERRATUM.--In the preamble to the Order in Council
dated 24th November, 1925, and published in the New
Zealand Gazette No. 83, of the 3rd December, 1925, page 3304,
authorizing the exchange of portion of a reserve in the Lower
Hutt Borough, Wellington Land District, for other land for
"Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies
Empowering Act, 1924," read "Reserves and other Lands
Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1923."

Declaring a certain Area added to the County of Waiapu to be
included in Awanui Riding thereof.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the nineteenth
day of September, one thousand nine hundred and
twenty-five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the
twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty-five, the boundaries of the counties of Matakaoa
and Waiapu were altered by the exclusion of a certain area
from the County of Matakaoa and the inclusion of such area
in the County of Waiapu:
And whereas it is desirable that the area so added to the
County of Waiapu should be included in the Awanui Riding
of that county:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by
section twenty-one of the Counties Act, 1920, do hereby
declare that the area included as aforesaid in the County of
Waiapu shall, as on and from the second day of April, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, be included in the
Awanui Riding of the said county, and that the boundaries
of that riding shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
AWANUI RIDING, WAIAPU COUNTY.
BOUNDED towards the east by the Pacific Ocean ; towards the
north by the Matakaoa County (as described in New Zealand
Gazette No. 65, of the 24th day of September, 1925), to the
north-western corner of the Tangihanga Block; thence by
the Tangihanga Block to a point in the middle of the Otuta-
mari Stream; thence by a line along the middle of that
stream to the middle of the Mangaoporo Stream; thence by a
line along the middle of the Mangaoporo Stream to a point

in line with the northern boundary of the Pakira Block;
thence by the northern and western boundary of the Pakira
Block to the middle of the Wairamaia Stream; thence by a
line along the middle of the Wairamaia Stream to the middle
of the Mangaoporo Stream; thence by a line along the middle
of the Mangaoporo Stream to a point in the middle of the
Mata River; thence by a line to the south-western corner of
Kai Inanga Block; thence by the Kai Inanga and Ahikouka
Blocks to the middle of the Reporua Stream; thence by a line
along the middle of that stream to the ocean.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of
November, 1925.

Defining the Middle-line of a Branch Railway from the Wairoa
to Waikokopu Branch of the East Coast Main Trunk Rail-
way through Portion of Awatere No. 2 Block, Block II,
Clyde Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in
this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a branch railway
from the Wairoa to Waikokopu Branch of the East Coast
Main Trunk Railway through portion of Awatere No. 2
Block, Block II, Clyde Survey District, shall be that defined
and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at its junction with the Wairoa to Waikokopu
Branch of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway at a point
marked 0 miles (which point coincides with mileage 1 m.
19.69 ch. on the Wairoa to Waikokopu Branch Railway) and
proceeding thence in a westerly then southerly direction
generally for a distance of about 36 chains 11.6 links, and
passing in, into, through, or over the following lands,&c.-
