(c.) Equitable arrangements on the basis of these charges
to be made in cases unprovided for, or which may not come
strictly within the foregoing rates, or for which, through
special circumstances, the scheduled charge is inapplicable.
(d.) The plan of a survey is included in the survey charge,
but a duplicate plan, or a tracing of the plan, is to be charged
extra.
(e.) Duty stamps are to be charged at value.
(f.) In large surveys the surveyor shall be entitled to
progress-payments. In all cases fees are due and payable
on completion of the plan.
(g.) Daily rates are only to be charged when acreage,
mileage, or engineering rates are not applicable or com-
mensurate.
(h.) Charges for Deeds Surveys shall be at the same rate
as for Land Transfer Surveys.
(i.) Subdivisional schemes, plans on tracings for Minister's
or local body’s approval shall be charged at daily rates.

TAKAPUNA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,
and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the
Takapuna Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpcse of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Takapuna
Borough Street Works Loan of £21,300, 1925, authorized
to be raised by the Takapuna Borough Council under the
above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of-
Providing an additional sum required to lay down
and complete Lake Road in concrete over and
above the amount estimated by the Council in
the previous loan for laying down and completing
the said street in bitumen, providing an
additional sum required to lay down and com-
plete that portion of Victoria Road between end
of concrete-work near King Edward Avenue
and the borough boundary in bitumen over and
above the amount estimated by the Council in
the previous loan, constructing approaches to
bridge over Wairau Stream, East Coast Road,
constructing footpath from Beach Road to
Northboro Road, and kerbing, channelling,
forming footpaths, and providing stormwater

a special rate of twenty-one one-hundredths (21/100ths) of a
penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the

of the Borough of Takapuna ; and that such special rate
shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of
such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in
each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,
and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the
Takapuna Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Takapuna
Borough Marine Terrace Loan of £13,400, 1925, authorized
to be raised by the Takapuna Borough Council under the
above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of the provision of an
additional amount required over and above the amount
estimated by the Council in the previous loan for widening
and supporting Marine Terrace and the construction of
Marine Terrace, the said Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of fourteen one-hundredths (14/100ths) of a
penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the
basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the
Borough of Takapuna ; and that such special rate shall be
an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and be payable yearly on the first day of July, in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and
of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the
Matamata County Council hereby resolves as follows :
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of two
hundred and one thousand pounds (£201,000), authorized to
be raised by the Matamata County Council under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purposes as set out in the Schedule
hereto, the said Matamata County Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of one penny farthing (1¼d.) in the pound
sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital
value) of all rateable property in the whole of the County of
Matamata ; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable
yearly on the first day of October in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a
half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
SCHEDULE.
A. The construction, reconstruction, metalling, and bitu-
minous surfacing of main county roads comprising the
following roads or portions of the following roads, namely :-
- Cambridge-Tirau-Rotorua Road.
- Morrinsville (East of Railway)-Tirau-Taupo Road.
- Waharoa (West of Railway)-Matamata-Piarere Road.
- The Junctions of Roads numbered 2, 3; and 6 at Hinuera.
- Matamata-Kaimai-Tauranga Road.
- Hopkin’s Corner-Hinuera-Te Poi-Tauranga Road.
- Maungatautari Main Road from Road numbered 1 to
the County Boundary. - Putaruru-Arapuni Road to County Boundary.
- Matamata-Turanga-o-moana-Te Aroha Road.
- Horahora-Arapuni Road.
- Richmond Downs Road.
- Waotu-Putaruru Road.
- Okoroire-Waiomo Road.
- Taotaoroa Road.
- Peria Road.
- Matamata Station Road.
- Turanga-o-moana to Waihou River Road.
And such consequential repair, alteration, erection, or
re-erection of any bridges on the said roads, and the purchase
or hire of such roadmaking plant and machinery as the Council
may consider necessary for the carrying-out of the said works.
