STRATFORD COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Stratford County Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £75, being a further ten per cent. on the original loan of £750, authorized to be raised by the Stratford County Council under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of completing the construction of the Oruru Road and part of the Old East Road as originally proposed, the said Stratford County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-sixteenths of a penny (3/16d.) in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property of the Oruru and East Roads £750 Loan Special-rating District, comprising Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, of Subs. 15, 17, 18 of Toko A and B Blocks; Lot 7 of Toko B Block; the western half of Lot 1 of Subs. 17 and 18 of Toko A and B Blocks; Sub. 1 of Lot 1 and Sub-allotment 2 of Sub. 18 of Toko A and B Blocks; part railway reserve (43 acres 2 roods 4 perches) adjoining the old East Road and 200 acres of Toko B Block adjoining Lot 4 of Subs. 15, 17, 18 of Toko A and B Blocks. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Piako County Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £2,100, authorized to be raised by the Piako County Council under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of metalling for the first time the Waiorongomai-Maungakawa Road from the present end of metalled road being adjacent to Section 3, Block I, Wairere Survey District, to the north-west corner of Section 4, Orongomairoa; also Mikkelsen's Road from the corner of the Waiorongomai-Maungakawa Road to the southern boundary of Lot 1, Section 17, Block XI, Aroha, the said Piako County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence and three-eighths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Waiorongomai-Maungakawa Speical-rating Area, being bounded as follows :-
Commencing at a point being the westernmost corner of part Waihekau No. 3, Block I, Wairere Survey District; thence in a north-easterly direction following the north-west boundary of the said Section part Waihekau No. 3 to the north-east corner of Lot 3, southern portion Te Kapara, Block XI, Aroha Survey District; thence in a south-easterly direction following the north-east boundary of the said Lot 3, southern portion Te Kapara, to the north-west corner of Lot 2, southern portion Te Kapara; thence in a north-easterly direction along the north-west boundary of the said Lot 2 to its north-east corner; thence crossing a public road and following the northern boundary of Lots 3 and 4, Section 17, Block XI, Aroha Survey District, to the north-east corner of Lot 4; thence due south following the eastern boundary of the said Lot 4 to its south-east corner; thence due east to the north-east corner of Lot 2, Block I, Wairere Survey District; thence due south following the eastern boundary of the said Section 2 to its south-east corner; thence due west following the southern boundary of Lots 2 and 1, Block I, Wairere Survey District, to the south-west corner of Lot 1; thence in a north-westerly direction following the south-west boundary of the said Lot 1 to the south-east corner of Lot 4, Orongomairoa Block; thence in a south-westerly direction following the south-east boundary of the said Lot 4 to its south-western corner; thence in a north-westerly direction following the north-west boundary of the said Lot 4, Orongomairoa, and part Waihekau No. 3 to the point of commencement.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

OTAUA DRAINAGE BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Otau Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a supplementary loan of £100 (one hundred pounds), authorized to be raised by the Otau Drainage Board under the above-mentioned Act, for completing, the widening, deepening, and straightening of the Awaroa Stream and constructing a stop-bank at Rura Rura, the said Otau Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/25 of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Awaroa Special-rating Area, comprising the whole of the land in part Sections 101, 135, 157, 158, 159, 160, 161, 162, 162A, part 207, and a piece of Crown land unsurveyed, Waiuku West Parish, in Block III, Maioro Survey District. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THAT, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Glen Eden Town Board under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the formation and installing of roads, the Glen Eden Town Board makes and levies a special rate of 1/8th of a penny in the pound upon all the rateable property of the Glen Eden Town District on the unimproved value; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of December and the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
