AVONDALE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Avondale Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £22,000, authorized to be raised by the Avondale Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of supplying, erecting, and providing waterworks, mains, reticulation services, and all necessary appliances in connection with water-supply in and for a defined part of the Borough of Avondale, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fourpence and one halfpenny (4½d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Blockhouse Bay Water-reticulation Special-rating Area in the Borough of Avondale, being all that area in the Borough of Avondale bounded (commencing at a point on the Whau River at its confluence
with the Avondale Stream) towards the north generally by the Whau River to Manukau Road; thence by the southern boundary of Sections 154, 155; then along the eastern boundaries of 155, 153, 152, 151, and 150; then along the southern boundaries of 157 and 158 and the eastern boundary of 158; thence by Garnett Street along the northern boundaries of Sections 1, 2, and 3 of Allotment 83, Parish of Titirangi; then along the eastern boundaries of 3, 16, 15, 14, and 13 of 83; and then along the northern boundary of 7 of 83 and the eastern boundary of 7 and portion of eastern boundary of 8 of 83; then along the southern boundary of 9 of 67, along the western boundary of 10 of 67 and 7 of 6/7 of 66, along the northern boundary of Sections 7, 8, 9, and 10 of 6/7 of 66, and then along the western boundary of 9 and 10 of 66 to its junction with Oakley Creek; then along the Oakley Creek to Richardson Road; bounded towards the east generally by Richardson Road forming the north-eastern boundary of Section 94, Parish of Titirangi; thence again towards the north-east by the eastern side of that road to its nearest angle; thence by a line across that road to the western side of road forming the north-eastern boundaries generally of Sections 66 and 67, Parish of Titirangi; thence towards the north-east generally by that roadside to the easternmost corner of Section 67 aforesaid; thence towards the south-east and south-west by the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 67 aforesaid, to a point in line with the eastern side of Boundary Road, which forms the eastern boundaries of Sections 78 and 77, Parish of Titirangi; thence by a right line to said eastern side of Boundary Road; thence towards the south-east by the said eastern side of Boundary Road and a right line across White Swan Road to the north-eastern corner of Section 75, Parish of Titirangi; then towards the south-east by the eastern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section to Manakau Harbour; thence towards the south generally by Manakau Harbour to the western side of Whau Portage Road; thence towards the west by that roadside to Avondale Stream; and again towards the west generally by that stream to the Whau River, the point of commencement. And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the fifteenth day of July, in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

HOBSON COUNTY.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Hobson County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £200, being 10 per cent. additional on loan of £2,000 authorized to be raised by the Hobson County Council under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of completing the formation and metalling of the Miti tai-Horehore Road, the said Hobson County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-twelfth of one penny (1/12th d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Miti tai-Horehore Special-rating District, comprising the following area—Starting from the Wairoa River at the south-eastern corner of Section 5, Arapohue Parish, thence by the south-eastern boundary of Sections 5, 13, 21, 22, and 24 of Arapohue Parish to the most southern corner of Section 44 of the said parish; thence by the eastern boundary of said Section 44 and of Sections 45 and 47 of said parish; thence by the southern boundaries of Sections 89 and 90 of said parish; thence by the boundary-line between the Arapohue and Okahu Parish to the Okahu Stream; thence by the said Okahu Stream to the Mangonui River; thence by the Mangonui River to the north-eastern corner of part Maungatawhiri Block (W. F. Underwood’s); thence by the northern and western boundaries of said part Maungatawhiri Block; thence by the northern boundary of Sections 63, 62, and 61 of Arapohue Parish; thence by the western boundary of said Section 61; thence by the Bradley’s Landing Road to its intersection of the Manginahae Block; thence by the northern and north-western boundaries of the said Manginahae Block to the Wairoa River; thence by the Wairoa River to the starting point. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
