Additional Land at Kaikohe taken for the Purposes af the
Kawakawa-Hokianga Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Kawakawa-
Hokianga Railway to take further land at Kaikohe, in
addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of
the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by
sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and
authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 36240,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wel-
lington, and thereon coloured red and blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of
October, 1925.

Forest Hill Tramway Railway.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Forest Hill Tram-
way Railway to take further land at Hokonui, in addition
to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said
railway:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public
Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority
in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 2 roods 30*8 perches.
Part of Section 270, Block VII, Forest Hill Hundred, South-
land County. (S.O. 101, Rlys.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 36649,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wel-
lington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of
November, 1925.
