NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between MAURICE WILLIAM FERGUSON and the undersigned GEORGE FRED HANSON, formerly carrying on business at Dunedin under the style or firm of "The Otago Rug and Bedding Company," has been dissolved as from the 15th day of December, 1924. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said MAURICE WILLIAM FERGUSON, who will continue to carry on the business in the firm name.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between Frederick Richard Smith Jones and Ernest Bold Jones, who have carried on the business of Pork-butchers at No. 99 Burnett Street, Ashburton, under the style of "F. Jones and Son," has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 28th day of September, 1925.

PATEA COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND TO CLOSE A ROAD.
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Patea County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, altering the course of the Weraroa Road near Waverley Racecourse; and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and, further, that it is proposed to close the portions of road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
Notice is further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken and closed is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council at Egmont Street, Patea, and is open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking and closing of such lands, who have any well-founded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking or closing of the said lands, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the date hereof, being the first publication of the said notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Patea.
