Partial Revocation of Order in Council prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of January, 1925.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that any Order in Council made under that section may at any time be varied or revoked:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council referred to in Part I of the Schedule hereto, but only in so far as it affects the land mentioned in Part II of the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
PART I.
ORDER in Council under section 363 of the Native Land Act, 1909, dated the 13th day of May, 1924, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 22nd day of May, 1924, affecting Taurewa 4 East A No. 1 and other subdivisions.
PART II.
All those portions of Taurewa 4 West D Block known as Taurewa 4 West D No. 6 Block, containing 84 acres, more or less, and Taurewa 4 West D No. 9 Block, containing 111 acres, more or less, situated in Waimanu Survey District.

Samoa Board of Trade Amendment Order.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of January, 1925.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section forty-five of the Samoa Act, 1921, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Samoa Board of Trade Order, 1921, in the manner set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.

IN addition to the members provided for by the Samoa Board of Trade Order, 1921 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Order”), the Administrator may, if he thinks fit, appoint as a member of the Samoa Board of Trade a suitable person as the representative of the European planters of Western Samoa.

The provisions of clause 3 of the said Order shall apply with respect to the member appointed pursuant to this clause.

Clause 6 of the said Order is hereby amended as follows:—
(a.) By revoking subclause (2), and substituting the following subclause:—
“(2.) At all meetings of the Board three members shall constitute a quorum.”
(b.) By revoking subclause (4), and substituting the following subclause:—
“(4.) In the event of the absence of the Chairman from any meeting of the Board, the members present shall appoint one of their number, being a European member of the Board, to be the Chairman at the meeting.”
(c.) By revoking subclause (5), and substituting the following subclause:—
“(5.) At any meeting of the Board the decision of a majority of the members present shall be the decision of the Board; and in any case of equality of votes the Chairman shall have a casting vote as well as a deliberative vote.”
