In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the WELLSFORD KAURI-GUM COMPANY (LIMITED), registered office, 216 Victoria Arcade, Auckland.
AT an extraordinary general meeting of members of the above-named company duly convened and held at the office of the company's solicitor, 602-3 N.Z. Insurance Building, Queen Street, Auckland, on Wednesday, the 30th day of September, 1925, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed :—
"That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that FRED TEMPEST EYRE, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up."

ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF THE PHARMACY BOARD OF NEW ZEALAND.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is my intention to proceed on Friday, the 13th day of November, 1925, to the election of two registered pharmaceutical chemists of New Zealand to serve as members of the Pharmacy Board of New Zealand, in place of the members who retire on the 31st day of December, 1925, and are eligible for re-election. Members will require to be elected as follows :—
Two members for the Central District, to be elected by the registered pharmaceutical chemists residing within the District of Wellington, the boundaries of which are the same as those of the Provincial Districts of Wellington, Hawke's Bay, Nelson, and Marlborough. The retiring members are JAMES CHARLES. BURBERRY and WILLIAM JAMES TILLIES, who are eligible for re-election.
Nominations will close at the office of the Registrar, 49 Ballance Street, Wellington, at 4 p.m. on Friday, the 23rd day of October, 1925.
Forms of nomination may be obtained on application to the Registrar.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned WILLIAM EDWARD STEVENS and WILFRED THOMPSON GLASGOW, carrying on business as Medical Practitioners at New Brighton, under the style or firm of "Stevens and Glasgow," has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 30th day of September, 1925.
Accounts due to the Partnership may be paid to either of the above.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
TAKE notice that the Partnership hitherto existing between KENNETH ROY SQUIRRELL and ALBERT WILLIAMS, both of Auckland, Auctioneers, trading together as "Squirrel and Williams," has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day of July, 1925, and the Partnership business will in future be carried on by the said KENNETH ROY SQUIRRELL, under the style or firm of "Squirrel and Co.," who will pay and discharge all debts owing by the Partnership.

ELTHAM COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE-SOUTH RIDING LOAN, £20,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Eltham County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of twenty thousand pounds (£20,000), authorized to be raised by the Eltham County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of—
Boy lan Road (refacing and tarring)

Skeet Road (refacing and tarring)

Fraser Road (metalling and tarring)

Campbell Road (refacing and tarring)

Mountain Road (metalling)

Stuart and Dalziel Roads (refacing and tarring)

Stuart Road Extension (metalling)

Rotokare Road (refacing and tarring)

Neill Road (metalling)

Te Roti Road (metalling)

the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one (1) penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the whole of the South Riding of the County of Eltham ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

HAURAKI PLAINS COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Hauraki Plains County Kopu (Kirikiri) Bridge Loan of £12,000, 1925, authorized to be raised by the Hauraki Plains County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing the Hauraki Plains County Council's share of the cost of the construction of a bridge, together with approaches thereto, over the Waihou River, which bridge is more particularly described in the Warrant dated the 6th day of May, 1925, issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General pursuant to the provisions of section 119 of the Public Works Act, 1908, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 7th day of May, 1925, on page 1364, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fifth (1/5th)
